While the room is clean, staff friendly etc, the room was noisy. I’ve stayed here previously but the room was not facing Burke St. This time my room did, and the traffic noise didn’t abate until about 8.30pm and ramped up again around 4am. It doesn’t appear that the windows are double glazed, so I noticed the traffic noise more. I had the windows open in the afternoon to cool the room down without aircon and there wasn’t much difference between them being open and closed.
