Checked in without issue, got to room and noticed dirty tissues on the shelf in the room. Went to pour a glass of wine and there was only one glass, went to call reception but phone not working, so went back down to reception and had to wait 10 minutes for help as no one was at the desk and there was no option to call anyone. Appreciate that they only have one staff on but it certainly impacted customer service. Went to have breakfast in the morning and the cafe wasn’t opened.

We were very happy with our adjoining rooms. About 4 minutes walk to the station and supermarket A number of places to eat in the complex. Also close to the venue where the hip hop competition took place.

It was the little things that make a stay so much nicer: a power point next to each side of the bed, opening windows, a quilt that was not overly warm at night on the lowest aircon setting. The interconnecting room was great for our teen children. Shops and metro station a short walk away. Bed was firm but not uncomfortably so.

The front external steps to the property are damaged, they were the last time we stayed as well so no attempt has been made to repair them. Quite bad for occupational health and safety
