I was in town for one night and my dog was staying with me. The location of the room they gave us was perfect for getting my dog out for walks and the location is near a park. The staff were friendly and courteous - also seemed to be very happy in their jobs.

Front desk staff were fine. The beds were awful. They were so hard, I woke up in tears and nauseous from the pain. A smoke alarm's batteries were dyng, so I made front desk aware. Maintenance took the unit. They didn't even return it with fresh batteries. It was still gone the next day. Also, housekeeping was aware of the issue. I could hear them discussing the beeping, yet they did nothing. Do better.

Staff was pleasant and accommodating however, doors slamming were very nerve-wracking. Heating/cooling unit was very loud. Both queen beds sounded like they were going to break when sat on and turned on. Pillows were terrible, they felt old and flimsy and mattresses had a bad curve. Matress covers were stained yellow in some areas. I will not be staying at Travelodge again.

This hotel is clean but incredibly loud. You can hear other guests opening and closing their doors - and while this is usually ok, it’s not at 3am with 3 kids. There are no joining rooms which left our family divided by the hallway. The pool area is clean and a great amenity but very cold. The attached Perkins and proximity to Science North & Dynamic Earth were very great bonuses. The hotel does not provide mini conditioner bottles.
