First time to this property ,exceeded expectations the rooms were well above average, the grounds we beautiful day and night, many pool options could go quite or party or kids or adults only, food options were also plenty and again above average for an all inclusive resort.all the bars were good and consistent how ever Adrian at the waves bar was the best. If your on the fence about booking this resort it’s worth the price.

We had a great time. We loved the hotel and we would like to go back next year. All the staff were amazing and very helpful. The only thing that I would have loved was to be able to go to the restaurants. We could only go one night to one of the restaurants because at the check in they told us that they had no availability. And the buffet restaurant wasn’t really our favorite…

Property looks clean and safe. Couple things that I didn’t like is that all of the pools were cold, beech was rocky with a lot of see weeds. We paid for transportation to and from airport and driver wanted to pick us up 6hours before our flight saying he has other people to pick up from other resorts. So my advice would be go the Taxi route not this Expedia company.

Stunning! Exceptional! A beautiful hotel with outstanding food, drinks and service. Rooms and grounds immaculate. Platinum service impeccable. Thanks to Edgar, Maju, and Hayleigh for welcoming us and being so helpful with resort information. Butlers Roger, Noah, and Luis made our stay delightful and made all our dinner reservations. Spent our days at the beach at El Cid, or the pools at the Ventus (so, so nice) and ended the day at the Ventus Ha rooftop bar (amazing!) Dinners each night were delicious at the Marina, Gulia, Kobe and Alcazar. I just cannot say enough about the amazing staff-everyone so friendly and kind. Only negative? The beach is not up to expectations but cannot blame hotel. We had such a relaxing and amazing time. Been to lots and lots and lots of hotels in Mexico over the last 20 years. I would rank the Ventus Ha #1 for customer service and their gorgeous hotel. Fabulous!

Second time at this resort. Great resort, staying at Ventus Ha you can use 2 other hotels (Ventus and Marina). We payed for Platinum club, and it was great, you can use Platinum lounges (4 of them) with premium drinks, coffee, rest area, you will get personal buttler who will help with restaurant reservations and any other services you need, and some in room perks, we liked it. Food is great, so many options. Akaat restaurant is the best for breakfast, outside terrace is amazing, and ask server for Green juice (we loved it). It is very walkable, we never used carts. And service is amazing and fast, and polite, almost every restaurant. A lot of great pools, jacuzzis, bars and restaurants, great shows. If you like swimming in the ocean this resort doesn't have good beach or swimming area, I mean it, you will not be able to do it, you can only use kayaks. But you can walk passing Delphinarium and use neighboring hotel beach, it is much better. Other than that it is amazing resort and very good price. Note for management: - Seafood restaurant La Marina has worst waiters service, we went there two years and both times was extremely bad experience; -Hacienda the elderly guy who is welcoming guests and seems like manager (or as waiter called him Captain) is not welcoming at all and has really bad attitude and not customer friendly, but waiters are great. - New bar Ruf NaHa the music is too loud, not tranquil and you can here it even from ground pool,just make music quiter

This property is super nice, extremely clean. The food is good. That being said, the restaurant/reservation system is badlyin need of improvement. Upon checking in youare told you cannot make reservations for two to three day as EVERYTHING is full. You are also told you can't make reservations for the weekend as the system doesn't open upopen up again after you make a couple of days reservations. The reservationsists are not at all helpful. For example, we were locked out of our room, dead battery, even though it had just been replaced as we could not enter upon check-in. One of us went to the lobby to get assistance and change our reservations as we would be late due to circumstances beyond our control. No one in the lobby, reservations desk, front desk, no supervisors available. Just "no", no options or assistance. Just no, with no compassion or empathy. When we did get into our room we called over to the actual restaurant and let them know our circumstances. Their answer? "All is well, thanks for calling, get here when you can.". Is there any possible reason someone in the lobby or at the reservation desk could not have done that? I would also like to point out that none of the restaurants were full, so there is no reason that they couldn't bemore flexible. This is the main reason I cannot give a five star review. I would hope that something is done with this system and soon, and the staff needs a refresher on courtesy and thinking outside the box to assist g

Pretty disappointed with a few things: 1 - if you do not make a dinner reservation, they relegate you to back of the bus and then lecture you on making a reservation. 2 - the property doesn’t seem to have a snack bar, hard to find suitable meals for children. The restaurants don’t open until 630 in the eve which is late for our kids 3 - The buffet was a mess, cramped room, lighting was poor, stood in line for 45 mins for three tacos 4 - if you have a blue bracelet, you’re trash. They are very hierarchical with how they treat guests. Status matters, we waited for 20 minutes at one restaurant only to have a waitress throw a napkin at my wife It’s shocking to me given the numerous choices up and down the beach - we will go elsewhere next time. Both the Fives and Ocean Riviera were much better. I spoke to the Manager, is what it is.

Property was great! Food was pretty good. Beach left some to be desired. Staffing originally had me next to construction and had to speak up multiple times before being moved which is inconvenient and paying for additional Wi-Fi is crazy. But beautiful grounds!

Great time overall as the bars and amenities are great. If you are going to the El Cid resort be forewarned that reservations for dinner are tough to come by and are non-existent some evenings which leaves you with mediocre room service meals. Very disappointed second time coming here. Staff was excellent as was the bars and pools.

Beware. The title of this resort contains both names of the properties within the resort. The booking via Expedia is for the Ventus Ha property, which is at the back of the beachfront property, Ventus at Marina El Cid. To get to the beachfront, you walk across the back property, cross a street, then walk across the other property to get to the beach. With that said, there will be some upsell for those not expecting to shell out extra money. We ended up paying extra to stay on the Marina side because we had little ones. Another complaint is that this is an all-inclusive resort; we booked for five guests: my wife, myself, and our three kids. We were only given two unique wifi logins - meaning that you can only register one device per login. They wanted us to pay extra for additional wifi logins. Shouldn't wifi be included at an all-includive resort? Other than that, the property and service were good. As others have mentioned, the food was okay.
