I don’t even know where to start. Our experience was tainted from the very beginning. Please make sure you check your reservation x10. There were 3 couples in 3 rooms who booked under the all adults site and who were not given rooms on that side, also a room reservation is just a “request” to them on availability, so if you book a king room, it’s not guaranteed even that’s what you paid money for. The rooms are mosquito infested and dirty, blood in the sheets, some beds didnt have a full set of sheets on them. Service staff wouldn’t help you unless you were holding cash in your hand in advance to tip. You could wait up to 40 mins for a drink. I wouldn’t stay here again if I was paid. Book somewhere else!

Staff was really nice. Food was not good. Bed sheets, pillows and pillow covers need to be replaced. Bell boys at the front changed up taxi pricing to and from the resort going to the hotel zone. One day we asked and one of them said that it would be $65 both ways ($130 total). We went the next day as we werent planning on going that day, and he changed the price to $250 round trip, claiming that $250 was the price and he never suggested $130. The beach was nice but lots of seaweed. Food was alright, couldve been better. They dont allow Ubers into the resort so you have to book transfers through Nexus Tours or another transfer service

Property is huge but I felt like I am treated like a number. Staff just pushed around the buck to the next person. Nexus travels not good with communication at all. Even if you book a private cab, changing the arrival time is impossible.

Resort was huge. The buffet was great breakfast lunch and dinner if you dont book a restaurant reservation. Buffet has ton of options but if you like a sit down dinner know that the service in the 3 restaurants we visited was super slow. Many pools and lots of chairs, look for shady area or umbrella early on if thats your preference. Great afternoon activites for kids/families, the girls from the vibe team were so friendly. Theres a party going on every night but its only loud if you are right near the action at the main pool. Oh, and you will will see a wedding, or 2 or 3 during your stay. During the day the beach was never busy while we were there, quiet there too, except nights with a wedding beach party. We saw the expected wildlife, lizards like big iguanas and small lizards in trees, many different birds, also cats around the resort, also dogs on the beach, a one night a racoon family looking for late night snack in the trash. We were warned that housekeeping and room service were slow but my experience was that they were very responsive and quick, just wish there were more options on the room service food menu. Overall the kids had fun and didnt complain of being bored. Just make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen!

Room smells like mold and was dirty. Booked ocean view but can barely see the ocean. Was short staffed and almost impossible to book reservations at any of the restaurants.

The pool area was beautiful, our swim up pool and our room was nice except for the excess amount of mosquitoes. The smell around the facility was horrible especially in the buffet area. We did not enjoy the food except Zen restaurant and Armadillo. The drinks were watered down including the coffee. I ended up getting sick and was unable to fly home the appointed day I had to extend my stay they were not helpful at the guest services or front desk. I had to do everything online. My fiancé and I are highly disappointed especially for the price we paid and it was a recommendation through Expedia as good.

i stayed here for my birthday and upgraded to diamond club with a butter . i did not even get a schedule for each day i did not get top shelf liquor at all i did not get to attend the diamond club dinner everything was an upcharge they didn’t help me with bags when i left the food was horrible and the buffet was not open due to maintenance the last day before check out . the other restaurants were only reservation only and couldn’t take us . i got attacked by bed bugs there were bats and raccoons everywhere and the staff would come in my room at 8 pm to bring towels with the do not disturb sign on my room . which i thought was so weird because things were moved around in the room … The pools all close at 5 pm and they kick u out of them . Even the bars had kids sitting at them .

Overall the hotel was underwhelming. The beach was full of seaweed and no attempts were made to try and clean it up for the guest who enjoy the beaches. The app to reserve a La carte dining didn’t showcase the right menu for dinner meals so it was a bit disappointing. Cleaning staff and spa staff were the friendliest. The dining staff could take a lesson from their book. Tipping is an option NOT a requirement so please remind your bar and dining staff of that fact. The things I enjoyed most were the spa experience, the weather and the hospitality area they provide if you have a late flight as it was very thoughtful and appreciated.

We recently stayed at the Royalton Riviera Cancún and had a mix of experiences during our visit. On the positive side, we really enjoyed the Encore swim-up bar—Javier and Carlos were absolutely fantastic and made our time there even more enjoyable with their friendly service and great drinks. A big shoutout as well to Miguel, who made our omelettes most mornings at the buffet—he was always kind, efficient, and a great start to the day. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay didn’t quite live up to expectations. We were constantly approached by staff trying to upsell extras, and guest services even attempted to sell us a timeshare, which really took away from the relaxing vacation vibe we were hoping for. Additionally, it was surprisingly difficult to make dinner reservations, and there were times when finding food felt like a challenge, which shouldn’t be the case at an all-inclusive resort. All in all, the service from a few standout staff members made our trip better, but the overall experience was underwhelming and fell short of what we expected.

First of the food was amazing, the rooms were really nice. The pools with swim up bars were spectacular. However there are a few downsides. We arrived at the property early and though they allow you to enjoy the property offering at that time, our room was not ready at 3pm, we had to wait for 30 more mins. Secondly, i feel like the elevators are old and we got stuck in the elevator for a good 20mins in such hot weather, after someone came to fix it , there was no apology whatsoever from the admin.
