The staff was great. We also enjoyed all the restaurants and the food was delicious. We never had to wait for a table for dinner, which was great. Also we choose a day to relax by the pool all day and Mariana was very atentive. We are definitely planning to go back. We also did many excursions and everything was fairly close.

Myself and ten of my friends stayed here for my 40th birthday. Everything from the service to the food and the amenities was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful and clean. The rooms were super cool with the extra large showers and kings bed looking over the spa and pool. The lazy river was one of our favorites, grab a cold drink and float around the spa to arrive at the bar again just in time for another beverage. There is a club area you can pay extra for. Not really a need, the entire resort has plenty to offer without paying more. The main pool bar is where the party is at. I liked that it was situated closer to the beach so we didn’t have to hear the music all day. I came to have fun but also relax. Over all we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this resort.

The resort itself was ok. No really WOW moments. The food and drinks were good. The staff was amazing! Very friendly. Very attentive. They cleaned and stocked our room every day and turn down service at night. I can’t say enough good things about the staff.

This property was perfect for me and my wife to getaway and celebrate 20 years of marriage. We didn’t have to worry about where to go or what to eat because everything is right there at the hotel. It was also a big plus that drinks were also included.

I have to start by saying the smell in the lobby of this resort is to die for. I could literally sit in there all day. My husband and I arrived to this location with transportation through MTS and it was amazing. We arrived to champagne and hand towels. We got there early so our room was not available but we were allowed to eat and walk around the resort. The staff was incredibly nice and respectful. We were always greeted politely. The entertainment was very good for a resort. We loved Karaoke night. It was so much fun! They should offer this more than once a week. Saturdays are a bit more quiet due to some people checking out on Sundays. My check out with Monday and we could hear a DJ going all night. I wish they would move that to Saturday for weekend fun. The bars were really really good. They could make whatever drink you wanted. My husband did wish the beer selection was better but overall he was ok with what they had. We did order room service one night for dinner it was average but we did not do that again. Breakfast was 10/10. We did decide to do more restaurant eating, which was soo good. Olas was our go too for tacos. The grill was very very good. The Kitchen was amazing due to the selection. They French restaurant was even better. Filet mignon melted in your mouth. Our room was cleaned multiple times a day which I appreciated so much. We did see a couple water bugs but what can you do! Overall 10/10

Our stay at Excellence Riviera Resort was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and pampered. The grounds were immaculate, the rooms spacious and well-appointed, and the ocean views were breathtaking. Dining was a true highlight — so many restaurants with delicious, beautifully presented meals. We also enjoyed the variety of activities, entertainment, and relaxing by the pool. Every detail felt thoughtful, and the service was consistently top-notch. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our return!

Beautiful hotel and the staff is really courteous, caring and helpful. The room and hotel overall is super clean and kept up. Food is really good in most restaurants. My only complain is that there’s never a dinner or lunch buffet and although there are 10 restaurants there’s a very long wait to get into certain restaurants. One other problem was the Sargassum seaweed, it was all over and the smell was very strong and at times unbearable. Swimming on the beach was out of question. They do clean non stop, so it’s not the hotels fault but there should be something on the hotel website warning about this issue.
