Overall, the room was clean minus mold at the top of shower area and dining table had sauce but I cleaned it with lysol wipes. I couldn't figure out if I could open the windows but that would be nice during Spring/Autumn. I was lucky to be upgraded to a suite to room 413. I find that the room itself is quite cold and couldn't get the heater to heat up the room even though I left the curtain blinds closed majority of the time to not let cold air come through. The closet jammed a lot but it wasn't a concern for me. There's a mini-fridge in the room that I can actually use and iced/refillable water machine on each floor helps to keep hydrated. Also, there's a "guest-closet," that I found helpful to not bother the staffs. Concierge are always friendly and helpful. No breakfast included but in each room, there's complimentary coffee, a drink, and popcorn snack. There's some snacks to purchase within the room, if you need it. Showers have good water pressure and are warm. Bring hotel slippers! Location is right next to Bryant Park and sandwiched between a few bakeries, train stations, 5th Ave and Time Square. Downsides are rooms are cold in January and only 1 out of 2 working elevators. Check-out can only be done at the front desk. I'm starting to see wear-n-tear in the hotel room but not a big problem for me. If you can afford to stay here, it's a safe location and in the center of them all. Rooms are not huge but not a concern for me as a solo-traveler. Pet-friendly hotel.

Staff was awesome though should know more about the variety of ways for getting from there to airports. And when there’s more than one guest in the room, the complimentary “local treats” like the bottle of lemon soda should not need to be divided between two. Found clumps of hair on the carpet so a more thorough vacuuming.

This is the only hotel I stay at in New York now! I've stayed 4 times already and every time it's been amazing! Their rooms are clean and spacious. The concierge are very friendly and the location is so convenient, steps away from 5th avenue!

This place was great. Everyone at the Park Terrace that I encountered was nice and helpful, especially upon check in. Great rooms, while NYC hotel rooms are generally very tight, this room seemed to have a little more space or was set up so well that it seemed like it. The neighborhood is filled with great restaurants, especially the Italian place next door-other options as well as coffee, pastry, and sandwich shoppes within the block. Also, it was perfect especially if you use the subway-and/or trains to Long Island or up north. To JFK- I walked one block to the subway (7 Train), 1 stop to Grand Central, took the LIRR to Jamaicia where I jumped on the JFK Air-tram- all for 75% less money and half the time, which was great because it was snowing and traffic would have been a mess. The area is central to everything- yet it does not have that Times Square, flashing light- Disney World feeling. Got a great rate with Expedia and will most definitely be back to the Park Terrace. Bryant Park is a great neighborhood to stay in every season.

Very clean, nice staff, great location right by Bryant Park and the library. Close to all the attractions but on a quiet street. Wish it had a refrigerator in the room and better pillows. We’d stay here again. No parking but they do validate for a garage close by. But no in and out so once you’re parked you can’t move the car until you’re ready to leave. Check out isn’t until noon so that nice.

Room was large by NYC standards. Tons of amenities like deodorant, brush, lint roller etc. Nespresso in room. Located next to the NYC public library where you can see the original Winnie the Pooh. Convenient location. Subway entrance at the end of the block. 5 min walk to broadway.
