It’s pretty loud due to the location but overall clean and VERY convenient. 10 minute walk from times square, tons of eating options all night on the street, etc.

The rooms are very small. The bathrooms are shared bathrooms, so you have to wait in line if you want to shower or use the restroom. The AC did not work, so it was unreasonably hot. The bedsheets were dirty. You can hear anyone that comes in and out. Both nights we stayed I slept maybe 3 hours due to people next door being extremely loud. Over all, great location. We almost rented a hotel at the Hilton down the street, we’d atleast have working AC and a shower to ourselves. I will not be returning next year.

The staff was very friendly and helful but the room was not as advertised. The TV had no remote control, the bed made noise and you could hear every noise outside the room and also there was not coffee as adversited, it was boiling water

It looks like an old residential property, the facilities are old and run down. It’s clean enough, but it’s really inconvenient, especially the communal bathrooms.

Literally the worst hotel you could possibly stay at. Shared bathrooms that are not particularly clean and are often occupied when you need to shower. Someone knocked on my door yelling at me for "slamming the door" (which I did not do) in the evening. This place is bad, surprised it exists in Manhattan.

If I knew this property only had shared bathrooms, I never would have taken a room there. When I took the room, there was no mention of "shared bathrooms." The room itself had a bed pushed up a window which let in no sun light and was drafty. The sink was less than 1 foot from the bed. I was tempted to move, but at 8:15 pm, staying for 1 night only, I thought I'll stay. I should have left. I can't recommend it, and I wouldn't stay in it again even if it was the last place with a room.

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean- shared bathroom accommodations wasn’t bad, there are multiple bathrooms on each floor. It was a little cold and you can hear the traffic from the street, but overall a nice experience.

A very pleasant surprise

I was very pleased..Zachary was such an excellent representative for yhe Americana Inn.. I am also very pleased at the accommodation amd Bathrooms etcetera..the night i was there it was very quiet and people seemed to be considerate of not slamming doors..
