Overall it was pleasant. The size of the room is small but comparable to other NYC hotel rooms. My biggest gripe was that I couldn't turn the AC below 69 degrees. The AC unit was loud and turned on frequently trying to maintain 69 degrees. It would warm up to 70 a few minutes later and kick back on, super loud and annoying. The clock was also 7 minutes slow and was not adjustable.

There was a weird smell in my room. I couldn't figure out what it was. Probably from cleaning. Air conditioning could have been better. The room room's temperature was good, just for the smell.

Stained bed cover, looked like blood. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Rooms extremely, extremely small. While the staff was very nice, if you are a smoker, DO NOT STAY HERE!! The “manager” an English man, was very, very rude about smoking within 25 feet of the property. Which is fine. But maybe have an area for smokers to go. He was just so very rude!! I would never stay here again. So I know to Not book our NYC Christmas trip here.
