The room was half updated. The bathroom was nice but the shower got water all over the floor. The staff was amazing. Elevators were slow, but expected in an older building. Location was great and lobby was so pretty.

The only thing this property has going for it is the price point and its unbeatable location. Beyond that, it’s all downhill. The phone in my room wasn’t even connected — just a decorative prop. There was no dresser, so unpacking or staying organized was impossible. The sink had hair on it, the windows were caked with grime, and the blinds were ripped. To make matters worse, the hallways were often clogged with service carts and trash bags, which made the place feel more like a storage unit than a hotel. If all you care about is saving a buck and being in the middle of Manhattan, this place gets the job done. But if you’re looking for comfort, cleanliness, or even the bare minimum of hospitality? Look elsewhere.

Poor wifi connection is some rooms.

The reception staff are very friendly and helpful as well as the cleaning lady making our bed and room cleanup. The only concern on my stay is the room that was given to me on the 4th floor can’t connect to the wifi of the hotel. Some rooms I guess have issues on the connection. Because of this, the hotel gave me back the upgrade payment for the room as I was checked in early at the hotel. Other than that the location was perfect in the heart of Time Square.

Most of the staff was friendly but our room's air conditioning did not work and I was told there was nothing they could do then and to speak to the manager in the morning. Then at around 2am there was a loud beeping sound coming from the hallway. I tried to ignore it but after an hour went into the hallway to find it was the ice machine beeping. I went to the front desk to let them know and was told someone would be there soon to inspect it. The beeping did not stop until around 6am.

Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a lux room to spend time in, this is not your place, but it is absolutely nice enough for someone who wants a comfortable, small, simple room to sleep in and have a private bathroom. Met all of our needs. Is clean. Bed is super comfortable. Clean HOT shower. On checkout day we extended our stay 2 extra days. Would def stay here again

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Very convenient to Times Square and the theater district. But, wow, all the other stuff… we were locked out of our room several times during our stay due to their key card system being down, the elevators weren’t working, no WiFi, broken outlet, coffee maker didn’t work, phone in the room didn’t work, no soap in the bathroom, the bathroom light made a high pitched squeal, there was no mini-refrigerator in the room (even though I emailed in advance to confirm and was told there was)… and more. Terrible experience. Please don’t get lured in by the price. Stay somewhere else!

Elevators need tuning up

I had lovely cleaning ladies, appreciative of that - Rooms are small (but you know that!)!I wish you provided lotion without special request and elevators need tuning up, they are SLOOOOOOW! Location is great but I think prices are too high for what it is and for what’s not included (continental breakfast etc)

The room we were initially given didn't have a blackout, and the streetlights made it hard to sleep. The noise from cars and sirens was loud. It didn't have a safe, coffeemaker, or TV remote. We requested the latter two and they brought them to us. They fixed the phone because it wasn't working. The next day, we requested a room change, which they did. This room was better, except for the clothes drawers, which were damaged and had to be left open. Only one elevator worked, and to go up or down, I had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes. They also charged us a $40 fee per night. I don't know why we paid this amount, since we didn't have a restaurant or parking, and we didn't ask for anything extra.

Good for sleep and close by

The stay was okay. Its one of the hotel's thats original the bathroom was really small and the shower has a piece of glass and it didnt slide to close so we laid towels on the floor and the should at least update the elevators the cleanliness of the rooms are great and bed was comfortable check in and out is easy although when i gave the person my card they didn't show or explain what i was bsing charged

Terrible experience. I arrived at 11 pm for check-in and their system was down. My room had no towels. At 7 am the cleaning staff were arguing loudly in the hallway and woke me up, then knocked on my door at 8 am. On top of that, I had an allergic reaction during my stay. Definitely not coming back.
