Dirty

While the front staff was friendly and helpful, the overall condition of the hotel was terrible. The hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years or even vacuumed. We had to move rooms the first night because our bathroom had not been cleaned and the floor in the room was filthy. The next room was also dirty and the sheets had stains. They brought us a vacuum and sheets and we vacuumed the floor and changed the sheets ourselves!

Very clean - but distinctly shabby-accommodations. NO functioning Internet for 3 days is not acceptable! This hotel deserves to be overhauled to La Quinta standards. Staff is eager to please and the fine work of Alondra, housekeeping, is notable.

The conditions of the hotel were deplorable. It was extremely dirty, the shower and tubs were nasty, we weren't able to bath, areas within the room was broken, the sink was coming off of the wall, dirty hallways and carpet, heat didn't work in room 602, my children and I did not feel safe.

Amazing location. Away from the hustle and bustle of mid-town or Times Square where most tourists go. The upper west side is a great neighborhood with easy walkable access to many restaurants and bars as well as the Museum of Natural History and Central Park as well as two train lines. The only issues are that the room was super small but it was clean. There is only one elevator so there can be a wait if you are on the upper floors. The hotel goes to the 14th floor. Overall, a nice hotel in a super safe and nice neighborhood.

West Central Park stay

Great location. A good, small room, adequate for our needs. Toilet seat was dislocated, sink drain was broken. We would stay again.

I was very surprised to find La Quinta Inn right there next to Central Park in New York City. It’s a quick walk across the park to the Manhattan Metropolitan Museum of Art. And we did that two days in a row. It was just completely enjoyable to feel so secure to know you were close to where you wanted to be and have a nice comfy bed to sleep in. The free breakfast was good enough too. Not great but good enough.

Best thing was front desk staff really helpful/lovely This could be a nice hotel ...IT'S DIRTY..everywhere (i took stairs, crummy elevator, stairwell filthy! Very shabby and run down...furniture chipped. Single room - no mirror except bathroom...Carpets worn, stained, just overall looks grimy. NEEDS PAINTING THROUGHOUT Great location, good staff - invest something in sprucing this up and it would be a winner

I called the front desk to see if under-21 could rent a room & was told YES. Son arrived was told NO! LOts of stress as he needed to get to audition asap. Clerk said she'do it but it was aginst rules. Switched his room from a King w a view to a FULL the size of a closet (my 20 yr old is 6' 4.). VERY disappointed. WIll not be able to trust again.
