The rooms are nothing like pics, the appliances barely work, there was hair in bed when we pulled back blanket, the carpets are very dirty wore socks, there were 2 dead roaches on the floor soon as walked in.

The rooms were absolute garbage. They even reeked of mold. We personally moved 5 rooms and didn't have amenities promised. TV volume was jacked up high and remote didn't work so no TV. I wouldn't want to bathe there because somehow I would be dirtier. I don't think there is any maintenance or cleaning done there. Staff seemed uncaring about making us come down multiple floors to get gets to rooms to "look and see if that room is ok". Our other booked room didn't have running water so we moved them once and settled with it. Killed the 2 cockroaches in that room and noted that the pillow itself had mold growing on it. Do NOT stay here! Absolutely AWFUL. Sketchy people live there long term and leave syringes by the bushes too. I'm still not over this. This place should be torn down.

I couldn’t stay in the room and left after entering and seeing blood on the wall, cockroaches, bed begs, and cigarette butts in the ground. I tried to go back to the front desk which was then closed. I immediately contacted hotels.com who did NOTHING to help me.They directed me to contact the hotel which will not respond. I would never stay in a hotel like this and I will never recommend hotels.com. I will continue to share my horror story with any platform I can be heard on.

I stayed for one night and it was a last minute find due to Mardi Gras, so paid more than expected ($200+ for 1 King-Bed room) but the room did not match up to any standards I've previously seen at La Quinta Inn's around the US. The room had a smell instantly and I was going to go back and ask to switch rooms, but had to rush in and out when checking in and then didn't get back until late. The room did not appear well cleaned or cared for. I hardly even wanted to shower in the room because it just felt dirty/unsanitary, then the smell on top of it. I was pretty disappointed and will definitely not be staying here again while back in New Orleans area later this year/next year. I don't recommend. Somewhat convenient to downtown NO but not worth the money staying here.

I would give a negative if I could. This motel has been allowed to get run down. The rooms are filthy. We did change rooms first night and the second room was only bearable but we had to leave 2 days early. No soap, only 1 wash cloth, no refrigerator. there is a coffee maker but nothing to make coffee with. No cups of any kind. Just a disaster. We did get a refund on the last 2 days I have to say. It was Mardi Gras, this was the only vacancy we could find.

The room was FILTHY ! Mildew on the lamp shades, burn marks EVERYWHERE, dried up throw up on the carpet, bed sheets had many stains on them. House cleaning lady was a total meanie. Tried to rush us out before the check out. Stating what time it was AS IF WE DO NOT KNOW. The first desk staff were super sweet. I wish the rooms were as nice as them. Please do not stay here if you don’t have to. Do not bring your children here. You’ll have a heart attack.

This is not a place for a human to stay. Upon checking in, the night person tried to assign us to a room on the 2nd floor. I asked if they had an elevator. I was told it was not working. I stated that is why I had asked for a ground-floor room when I made the reservation. I have had knee surgery, and I can't do stairs. The room was disgusting. The curtains were nasty, and the floor was filthy. I walked on the floors in white socks, and they were dirty afterward. Some lights needed to be changed in the bathroom. The tub dripped. The maintenance person came in, fixed the lights, and reduced the drip in the tub. I looked up and found black mold in the shower. There was hair on the counter. At check-in, the night staff person lied and stole money from me. I had prepaid for the hotel stay. She said I needed a credit card on file but it wouldn't be charged. When I checked my account the next morning I saw a charge, I proceeded to the front desk for clarification. Was given an apology & a credit. Only to be charged a 2nd time. My daughter & I refused to leave our bags in the room because the place was nasty. We went out for a few hours. Upon returning, the beds had been undone. The mattresses have human bodily fluids on them. DISGUSTING!!! We asked to be moved. The next room had issues, too. I won't recommend this place to anyone! As a Travel Agent, I will NEVER RECOMMEND any of my clients to stay here. My daughter found a roach crawling on her clothes that she laid on the chair.

There was no hot water in the shower. I mean, the cold side of tepid was the best that came out the spout

The non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke and was stronger in the bathroom indicating it may have been coming in from another room. The sink backed up and the room needed some fresh paint. The beds/sheets were clean and fairly comfortable and the AC/heater worked well. The staff was friendly and fairly efficient. Breakfast was sufficiently stocked. Overall this feels like an older hotel that is in need of some significant renovations (flooring, paint, general maintenance) but it was sufficient for sleeping in while visiting New Orleans.
