The location is good, easy getting around. The rooms are old. Our smoke detector battery died at 1am and had to be replaced. Someone came quickly to replace the battery, but the batteries should be changed so that doesn’t happen. The staff is the only thing I can rave about at this hotel. Everyone, from the moment we pulled up, until we were pulling out was exceptionally nice, polite, and helpful. They truly were the definition of hospitality at its best.

Overall, Very Good!!

Overall they were wonderful!! Helpful, informative to finding places, transportation, etc. Our Biggest complaint was the concierge, recommended a Swamp tour that was by far the worst I've ever been on!!! It seems that it was thought that if a Midwesterner saw 1/2 doz. small gators we should be WOWED but it was a LONG boat ride for almost nothing of interest & you could barely hear the driver. It was quite expensive for VERY little of interest! Take a cruise w/Cajun in the name instead!! The only other complaint was double beds! I had 2 grown sons w/me & it made sleeping VERY difficult! One ended up sleeping on the floor which for the price you pay for a hotel, that shouldn't happen

One night in Mew Orleans

Check in was quick and efficient, despite a very long line. Hotel is in a great location. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The only con was the bathtub did not drain properly.
