Umm I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was too disappointing to ignore. I stayed here for two nights and honestly wish I hadn’t. First, the room was nothing like the photos online. It smelled musty, the carpet was stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while—there was hair in the shower and mold in the corners. The air conditioning unit barely worked and made a loud rattling noise all night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The front desk staff seemed uninterested and barely acknowledged us when we checked in. They continued when we checked out .. unprofessional and unreliable

Positive: A great location if you are porting out of New Orleans for a cruise or have an event at the Convention center. Close proximity to all key areas including a short drive to the French Quarter and walking distance to a lot of amazing local spots. Negatives: CUSTOMER SERVICE. There is one male counter agent who was very personable but everyone else behind the desk makes you feel like "why are you here?" They never acknowledge you or greet you when you walk in the door, don't make eye contact when you approach the desk for service, and are much more interested in conversations amongst themselves then they are in assisting you. I know sometimes these hotels are limited in the "good people" they can get for these roles, but service is everything in the HOSPITALITY industry. If you don't have it, it is crushing for you location.

Absolutely Horrible – Filthy, Unsafe, and Overchar

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First off, I was overcharged for a room that wasn’t even worth half the price. What I walked into was disgusting—filthy floors, stained sheets, and a stench that hit you the second you opened the door. The room felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. To make matters worse, in the middle of the night there was nonstop yelling, fighting, and screaming right outside my room. It was pure chaos—felt like I was in the middle of a street brawl. I didn’t feel safe at all, and there was no staff response or security presence to handle it. This place was nothing short of ghetto and completely unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to throw your money away and risk your safety. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.

More attention need to be placed on the cleansiness the indside rooms; When I vacation I do not want to worry about taking unwanted guests back home (bugs, cockroaches...). My family decided to have a in day during our stay so we deicded to order uber eats. We were watching a movie in the bedroom while eating, my husband decided to go back into the kitchen to get some more pastries that was left out on the counter top--only to be greeted by some other guests that we were unaware of....a little mice that ran away@@@ and two roaches that was not as lucky!!!! Hubby quickly turned off the light and rushed back to the BR. I went back to the kitchen, turned on the light I saw small roaches on the kitchen floor. My stomach immediately upset cause I was also eating some of the deserts;;; I quickly called the front desk and demanded a change of room--(really I wanted to leave but hubby did not want to relocate because it was night); I was given a new room. My vacation was ruined: the room I received was ok but my mind was not settled until I left that place. More emphasis needs to be placed on housekeeping inside the room, not just upon request. I stayed there for 8 days and no one came into the room to clean!!! because cleaning is done upon request. I did keep our areas clean but each family is different.. The carpet inside the rooms need to be deep cleaned (it would've been better to start out with tiles as the carpet holds in odor, dust, allergens, stains.. more cost effective.

My 4 star review is based more on the staff than anything else. The staff all provided exemplary service and Chelsea was by far my favorite. She worked the front desk for the night audit shift and she ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word. I was VERY disappointed with the first couple of days. There was a group there and they were taking over all the extra property amenities offered. The pool was too full of people for my family to utilize that service, then when we finally got in the pool area to try to use it, the pool was closed for the day due to that group's behavior. I understand the staff closed it for overall safely, but I wished they had just made that group leave the pool. I do see that it was an easier option to just close the pool rather than deal with the backlash of making that group leave. It was the same for the grill, patio area and tennis/basketball court. There was not way for anyone else to enjoy those amenities based on the behavior of one group. The breakfast was fabulous every morning and had a good selection for whatever you may be looking for. Again, the service from the breakfast staff was perfect. Friendly and stayed right on top of things right until breakfast closed. They didn't let it run out just because there was little time left. Everyone was friendly and the guests that were there were also friendly. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would stay again, though we will probably ask about any groups reserved for that time.

Not our kinda of location

First of all, hotel NOT as described. Loads of people congregated in their so called lobby, and their canteen as there is not a place called lobbying room. At the front door there is a sign "Soliciting is not allowed".. gulp that is one sign to tell you what kind of hotel it is. Walking into the hotel room, dark, dirty carpet and lift door is welcoming you as well as smell of dope. The story is not stop there, people congregation moved to the garden, laugh and talk so loudly until 3am. Reported it to the staff at 00:30 am and promised that i will be dealt with which was failed! We requested to cancel the rest of our stay(we booked 3 nights).. hotels.com agent tried to do it for us, only to get answered no and the phone put down. There were also loads homeless slept on the street nearby..Also we have a car to park, parking valet is USD 52 per night. When we asked if there is any public parking nearby, the receptionist just said none. In fact, there is a public car park for USD 10 per night 100 mtrs away. Also can park for free on the street from 8pm to 7am. We so disappointed with this hotel. We moved to a better hotel at the end and we did not feel safe and couldnt sleep. On the good note, room is clean and spacious..
