The check in process. We didn’t get our room until 3 hrs after the check in time. We questioned this multiple times and the only response we were given is that they are busy.
There was no interest in guest services and compensating guests for the delay, no interest in following up what was happening to provide an eta on when rooms would be ready.
Check in staff were quite rude and abrupt when questioned and seemed to what to muck around and laugh when dealing with you.
Then at 5pm in the afternoon we have the housekeepers playing music and vacuuming as you are trying to settle and relax. I have never stayed somewhere where housekeeping is interfering with a guests peace, you rarely see them let alone hear them.
This left a bad taste with us and with the reputation and size of this brand we were and would have expected a lot more
