This hotel is a glimpse into the past grandure of NOLA. Service is top notch old world style. Criollo, the restaurant, is excellent, and the bars, both of them, fun with attentive staff. Everyone from the house keepers to the doorman is friendly and polite. Also the SPA has one of the best masseuses, Bridget, that I've ever had. And to top it off, the location is excellent. To truly get the NOLA experience I can't rate it high enough.

OK, the hotel is great. The location is perfect. But what stands out is the service. Michael Weir needs to be recognized or his attention. This man is a true connoisseur of his home and turned me on to great places to eat. But it wasn’t just that, you could tell he had a zest for what he does and for that I will always return to this hotel.

The staff! In particular, Nolan. An amazing gentleman that made sure that my daughter & I were safe as possible while in the city. The hotel is old as expected but very clean with a delicious bite or two from the all day menu when we arrived. We will most definitely return to one of our favorite places from my childhood

Beautiful place. The lobby and bar area is always busy. The room was excellent. The staff is wonderful. We enjoyed our stay so much. Only one glitch. Cars are valeted. Getting our car took 35 minutes. So call ahead of checkout.
