Love this hotel. States twice and will definitely stay again. Only issue was the water pressure wasn’t good in the sink and too a long time to heat up as well as the shower. Other than that it’s beautiful and very clean.

I had an unpleasant experience at this property. The first I had a loud clicking noice coming from my ac system which never stopped even after maintenance came. In addition, the alarm woke me up out of my sleep a 6 am ( perhaps) by housekeeping. Also I had to argue with the management staff about compensating me regarding the lack of sleep due the ac noise. I will never stay here again and don’t recommend this outdated establishment to any future guest.

The property was very pretty. We had booked a room with a terrace and the suite we were given did not have a terrace that you walked out on from room. I also was there for my wedding and they were not accommodating when I asked for options to get to the chapel that was 2 blocks away

I was very worried about the noise but thankfully they were able to accommodate our request for a higher floor and off main road room. Outside of the hotel was the center of the French quarter but once you get into your room, you hear nothing. Loved that.

We booked the hotel with and early check in because our flight was coming in at 11am and we had a concert to attend at 7pm. When we got to the hotel we were told that they did not have the room available yet and that it would be available soon and they would call. 3 1/2 hours later no call so we headed back to the hotel to see if my room and my friends room were ready. They apologize to my friends to let them know their room was not available but our room was. So we all decided to check out my room to find out they gave me a handicap room. Now me nor my other friends that were with me were handicap. They had a bath stool in the shower where you could not raise the stool to shower, the shower had no door so when you turn on the shower the water would just come out of the shower. The room was extremely small to be a handicap room. So I went back to the front desk and explained this was unacceptable. They apologize and switch the room. Now the next room was not ready yet. Now it is going on 3pm and they apologize again for the wait and that they would call me when the room was available. So long story short the room wasn’t available to after 4pm. We were on the 4th floor Room 4062, the water pressure in the bathroom was low, it barely came out of the bathroom faucet. When we turned on the lamp on the table it kept flickering from low to high. Also the second day in the hotel all the lights shut off for a few minutes and the telephone went dead. What a horrible experience I had.

I booked a balcony room about a month prior to my trip. When I got there I was told there hast been a fire 2 weeks prior so my room wasn’t available. I hate that wasn’t communicated because I could’ve had 2 weeks to find another room. They did offer another room but we were not happy with it so we ended up canceling. They did not penalize us for canceling and we were able to get a full refund which I appreciate. We ended up calling around and there were really no other hotels available around bourbon likewe wanted so we came back to this one and they said they didn’t have anything either.. although I know I’d literally just canceled one here. I would try this location again simply for the location, however I am not pleased with the service so far
