Great room, cool as hell building with a ton of history, the staff was amazing and always had a smile on their faces. Location is good, close to the French Quarter but far enough from the noise of it. Walking distance to all of the RTA stops makes the whole town accessible, make sure you get a Jazzy Pass on your phone. We did not eat at the restaurant just never made it but the food smelled amazing. The wife and I will be back and considering I have been coming to NOLA for almost 20 years I wish I would have stayed here sooner. Parking across the street is convenient and of average price for the area, valet is on par with other hotels in the area for price as well. The Art, the lobby seating, beautiful plants outside to greet you, and the lobby and hotel smelled great, what’s not to love.

It was alright, bed is extremely comfortable and the location is great. Hotel is nicely decorated and giving art. I didn't like the room at all. They gave us one without the window, which was a bit of a shock for me, I would never book a room without the window and it wasn't stated when I booked, all the pictures of the property had windows in the room so I found it very misleading. They never cleaned our room, which was another shocker. We had a please clean our room sign outside our room for the whole time and it was ignored. I saw other rooms had the same sign out and they also were ignored, so it's probably a thing there. Then I wasn't sure why we were charged extra $20 a day for some secret "extra services", where there was not even a water bottle in a room. I wouldn't stay here again, not up to my standards.

I used the $20 F&B credit given to me. The restaurant said it would be charged to the room and credited upon checkout. They charged $20 to my credit card on file instead of crediting me up front. When I saw the charge at home after checkout, they told me they submitted a refund the next day. That was 18 days ago. Ive made 2 calls to Expedia and 3 calls to the hotel with promises to resolve but no confirmation back from either party. This same thing happened to me at Old 77 a couple of years ago. Beyond frustrated

We liked the hotel. The woman at check in was so mean and treated us like we were a nuisance. We had called the night before saying we were arriving in the morning and the person on the phone was so nice and made us feel like everything would be fine. When we arrived the woman at the front desk acknowldged that it was in the system and basically told us we were a problem and that she could not help because we asked that our 2 rooms for 4 nights be on the same floor. When we checked in both rooms were on the same floor but we had a hard time shaking the feeling that we were treated as a miserable problem when we had been nothing but kind and apologetic. We liked our stay but probably won't stay there next year as she was so mean to us.

Loved my old room. I could walk everywhere. Oddly, it was quiet. Staff was amazing. The only thing I didn't like was that I was charged a little bit of money for things I brought to their attention that was missing in the room and then a bag of chips that was soft and stale. I even took photos. They still charged me for them.
