There is a lot of construction going on around the hotel, makes for a very noisy street. There was several trash bags filled with old sheets just thrown in the yard. Even though I was specifically told pets were not allowed at the property, there was a room on the 1st floor that had a dog barking.

Wasn’t the cleanest. False advertising that made us and other people staying think that we were closer to the ocean. It was never stated that there was no elevator. We got an ocean view room and you could barely see anything over the other buildings. We could not access the vending machines and had to walk over to a store nearby and buy a bunch of drinks late at night.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The building was in need of a lot of TLC. Pictures online were deceiving. The AC unit worked, but was pointed directly at the bed that was 2 feet away and couldn't be adjusted, other than temperature. The pool was tiny. Too many little things to write about that when added together made it uncomfortable and an overall negative experience. Guess the old adage of you get what you pay for applies here. The best feature was the short distance to the beach.

That was very disappointed that my key wouldn't turn. The whole building is outdated and very poorly kept. A fire truck was actually called for gas leak at twelve midnight.
