Very hot night and couldn’t find the remote for the air con Couldn’t get any tv stations Rang the number in the folder and no reply Rang the day we left and staff showed little interest in our issues

Roomy unit close to transport & facilities

Pros: close to facilities including public transport
Cons: simpler access
Location: Handy if you're coming to Melbourne from eastern Victoria - only 10 mins or so off Monash Fwy. Right at Glen Waverley rly station but quiet
Room access was comprehensively explained. Clean and roomy unit right at train station; reasonably quiet for all that. Close to all facilities including good restaurants. Only drawback we found was that it takes about three-quarters of an hour on the train from Glen Waverley into Town...not so bad during the day but a bit of a drag late at night.

Excellent if you want to be close to transport.

Pros: Close to train station.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Very close to The Glen Mall. A lot of restaurants right at hotel.
Close to a wide choice of good Asian restaurants - value for money! GREAT being close to transport. View not the greatest....of the station. Not sure what the noise from the station would be like? The weekend we were there- trains weren't working due to maintenance. Apartment - very clean and just what was needed for a weekend stay over.

Air-conditioning inadequate

Stayed in the apartment over Melbourne summer. Sun comes beaming in to the apartment and it becomes unbearably hot. There is only on aircon in the main living area and no aircon in the 2 bedrooms. Would not stay here again.

Generally pretty good.

Pros: Apartment had good facilities. Washing machine, dryer, Foxtel, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, plenty of linen. Self check-in worked well. Very good place to stay for a short or extended period.
Cons: Worst of all was that the heater didn't work. Spoiled the stay for me as it was very cold weather. This is very important when staying in a hotel room. At home it's easier to get around problems like this, but in a hotel room, pretty much all I can do is sit and watch TV or read, so it's harder to keep warm. Put a real dampener on the whole stay. My own fault that I didn't read the instructions thoroughly, but I would have liked the car parking details to have been more prominent. I had to leave my car overnight in the public carpark. Bench and table space was pretty tight. To be expected in a hotel room, but would have liked a bit more. Vanity cabinet was overhanging the hand basin, so banged my head on the cabinet a few times. You'd think that I'd learn after the second time.
