I would say the rooms had been recently renovated and they have been designed far above the standard of the usual hotel room Its amazing what a little extra styling can achieve

The photos on the Wotif website made it look like an awesome place but it’s just a renovated old building. Didn’t know there was no lift as we came over for my sons back surgery so had to use the stairs. Rooms are directly above the outdoor beer garden and everyone was so loud in the garden until late.

Hi David, When you book with us or any of the online travel agents we provide information about access via stairs only. The rooms have been renovated and look amazing! We are a pub that attracts a lot of guests over weekends, as well as being a large function venue. Apologies everything was not up to your expectations, We still hope you enjoyed your stay.

Housekeeping was always very punctual and courteous, and they did a great job of refreshing the room and keeping things tidy. The gated balcony access to the rooms is also an excellent security feature.

Small but clean and neat. You are staying over a pub, but rooms on second level with secure gate into the level. I felt very safe there. Some joyous noise till the pub closed then very quiet. I will stay again.
