"Little gem"
We only stayed here for 2 days and I wish we could have stayed longer. The location is great being really close to the town of Mclaren Vale. When you are inside (we stayed in the studio) it is so quiet and relaxing, you can hear birds and that is it. The room itself was the perfect size and had absolutely everything you need. We had an absolutely lovely stay and I came home and told mum that she had to go and stay there :)

They are sure to knock your socks off! For a fantastic break enjoying the very best of the great outdoors, get your Springbrook accommodation booked, get your sense of adventure sorted and your suitcase packed and you’re good to go!

    History

The area first attracted European settlers to its rich timber resources in the early 1900s. Tourism developed at a rapid pace from the 1920s, and it is still a thriving and popular place today. There are a number of heritage sites so history lovers can still get their fill.

    Things to do

Springbrook National Park is home to the towering Springbrook Mountain. Great for climbing and hiking, you can see an abundance of native flora and fauna as well as enjoying some truly magical views. Mount Warning is another top spot. It is the remains of a volcano. Steeped in Aboriginal legends, Mount Cougal ’s twin peaks are also very popular. As the name suggests, one of the best places to enjoy the views is the Best of All Lookout. There are loads of forest trails, and the area is well-known for its cascading waterfalls and craggy cliffs. Visit the stunning Natural Bridge and see how Mother Nature can create some beautiful structures. Step into the glow worm filled cave and paddle in the babbling creek. Pack a picnic for your days out and dine al fresco in some of the country’s most scenic places.

    Shopping and dining

There are a few places to pick up some basic provisions as well as a handful of nice cafes and coffee shops. This place is more about nature though than commercialised activities

    Getting here and around

We have some great deals on flights to the Gold Coast, and Brisbane is less than 100 kilometres away. Hiring a car is the best way to see all of Springbrook’s many delights, although you can also join several tours of the area.
