Our stay in Invermere BC

We stopped in Invermere on our way to visit friends. We arrived at 2:30 and were given an early check-in. We asked about places to eat and were given a few suggestions. We had trouble changing channels on the TV and the remote was fixed while we were out for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely location with plenty of walkable options. Decor is a bit dated, but it's in good condition regardless and the room I was in was clean. Parking is available right in front on the street or in their lot around back. Would love to stay here as a basecamp for adventures in this area.

The Inn is old, it's sad to see it falling into disrepair. The elevator was out of service the whole time we were there. Bathroom tiles were cracked and missing grout in a lot of places, the bathroom faucet was leaking, the wall thermostat was broken but the manual controls on the wall AC unit worked fine. The fridge froze our beverages the first night, so I had to pull it away from the wall and adjust the temperature up. The attached restaurant, Beginnings, has a terrific breakfast menu!! The room and hallways were clean and tidy and staff were super friendly. The Inn is just really old and desperately in need of updating/some repairs.

The room was clean but had a bit of a musty smell. The king sized bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!
