The hotel as a whole was quite cold. It was less than comfortable when entering the premises so jumpers and coats needed to stay on. I was unable to warm my room to a satisfactory temperature and no extra blankets were available in the room. Consequently i had a broken nights sleep with many layers of clothing required even in bed. I will not return.

Friendly staff. excellent service. Air conditioning in room wasnt working so they got another room organised for us. Reception staff then worked in restaurant later in the evening. Very highly recommend to stay here

Check in robotic, room dated, tired and needing a refurb. The room had a great view of the bins and was poorly sound proofed against aircraft takeoffs. Had early flight and no shuttle was running which was the reason I booked this. Thankfully uber saved the day. One to avoid until fully refurbed. Poor value for money. Management need to wake up to this hotels shortcomings!

Few things , I hope this review is constructive and if reached the people it should can do something to improve on. 1 the welcome to the hotel felt like “oh another guest eyeroll and like felt like why are you here” the lady in the morning during checkout was febulous, can’t say same for the guys . 2 the house keeping girls were amazing. Though the walkway to the room (211)stinks like rotten fish for the time we stayed , looked like no one was there to clear the dishes left outside the room from night before , there were rubbish left outside one of the room and stuck the whole walkway. 3. We stayed the couple of nights and our card stop working the night after so had to go to reception to get it another one while I am carrying the sleeping toddle two floor down. On my way down I saw older couple experiencing the same problem. Breakfast was boring and didn’t seams worth it. 4.i think it is in all the room , when you open the sliding glass door there is a big gap between a grill and the edge of the room , it didn’t feel safe when you have toddlers with you . A child can easily slide through the gap it is that wide gap. 5 it felt like we are at place where rule plays more important role than customers peace of mind, I saw the note in the room where it says to clean up dishes before checkout otherwise a fee will be deducted to get it cleaned. It was kinda threatening wording than a request . I hope no body takes it negatively but consider to improve on somethings.

Room was comfortable, location excellent, front staff also very polite and attentive. For the restaurant it was unacceptable and really poor. I arrived at about 18:30, received a menu and ordered a simple Caesar salad with a glass of wine after waiting about 15 min. 20 min later the same server came to me with another dish and asked me if it was my order. I answered that I ordered the Caesar salad and a glass of wine. She went away. I could see that other patrons were getting their orders and waited patiently. However at 19:45, I asked to the same server what was happening. She asked me again what was my order. I was upset and walked away. I went to the front desk and told them what happened. They offered to do something. However I refused as I had by now waited 1:15 hrs. And did not want to wait anymore. I travel a lot and never experienced such a poor service anywhere.

Curtains missing, blinds cracked and broken, no phone in room, ladders lying in hallways, no staff when I arrived at breakfast, dirty plates on the tables, small amount of food a available, so I walked out in disgust. Staff on arrival not welcoming. I have travelled all over the world, this would be the worst Ive stayed at. As someone who lives in Hobart, I’m ashamed to say it’s the only hotel to pick from at the airport when people require one.

This current trend of not servicing rooms every day is sh*t. If i am going to pay $220 plus a day for a room you need to service it everday. There is no way a 4 star hotel could keep their rating with this. Restaurant food well below what id should be as well. Tv is outdated and the cupboards wont even close properly. Stay somewhere else

Felt that building needs to be refurbished and had changed ownership from when we booked to when we stayed, so still ironing out things I think. We had quite a bit of luggage and thought they would offer a trollley but had to ask and there was no one that collected it and had to negotiate pushing it around where other places offer and do it for you. There were some disgruntled guests however when I requested late check out happily obliged which I appreciated. Felt it was quite pricey for what we got and it wasn’t very busy but got given a room overlooking the rubbish bins.

During check‑in, I asked for an extra blanket because I usually feel cold at night. The receptionist told me that “it was summer” and that “we didn’t need it,” saying that one blanket was enough for my child and me. This response left me disappointed, because I don’t think it is appropriate for staff to decide whether a guest feels cold or not. I was also not offered any alternative, not even a paid option. I believe the service should be more empathetic and focused on providing solutions, especially when it comes to something as basic as comfort during a stay. I hope this can be taken into consideration to improve guest experience.
