Room was a good size, layout great and clean. Only grievance is the shower head fixed to ceiling. Have to endure the cold water before it can get warm up, coz shower cubicle is small, had to manoeuvre around to avoid the cold water that comes out initially. Simple solution is to change the fixed shower head in the ceiling to handheld.

The carpet in the room is old, should be changed Laundry room needs the lint cleared from the back of the clothes driers . The one clothes drier sucked up the allotted coins but would not start. Management did refund me my money that I lost in the clothes drier. The grooves in the shower doors were full of grime. Location of hotel was great.

Very clean. Not fancy. Didn’t need to be. Good sized room. Good location. Near St. David’s Park. Then on 3 minutes to Salamanca. Market on Saturdays. Staff very helpful and friendly. Safe. Only drawback is the lack of variety of restaurants nearby but can get food and groceries I. Salamanca. Near harbor and wharf. I’ve stayed at more expensive places in Hobart but those didn’t have the service and friendliness that they have here.

The hotel was in a fabulous position but most of the staff weren’t friendly. The rooms were ‘cleaned’ daily but the same bit of dirt that was present day one was still present day five. We had to ask for our tea and coffee to be replenished and our beds were brushed over each day. The staff appeared were not friendly at all. Even when we checked out we weren’t asked how our stay was. The staff took our room cards and said nothing. Very disappointed overall.
