Lenna of Hobart is a lovely historic hotel. We stayed in the newer building, in a family suite with spectacular views of Hobart and the Derwent River. The room was spacious and clean, although the couch had seen better days. The hotel’s location in Battery Point is great - it’s a 2 minute walk to Salamanca Market, and 5 minutes to the waterfront/Constitution Dock.

Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. I had a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table, but I was on the ground floor next to the driveway so there were cars and people going past so I didn’t use it. There is parking on site but it can be a tight fit with larger vehicles like the one I had. Salamanca Place is just around the corner so it’s a great area.
