Kathy was amazing for breakfast each morning and available for any requirements during the day. Room was stunning with comfortable bed and amenities. Would highly recommend.
Perfect room and shared spaces. Old established gardens and trees complete with roses and maze shaped low hedges topped off a great property. Highly recommend.
Easy check-in using a code with key in box on foyer table, accompanied with information in an envelope. Room La Perouse, ground floor. Lots of light from the windows that wrapped around two walls. One outlook was over the driveway and to the oval beyond. The back windows overlook driveway to the garden beyond. Spacious long bathroom. Excellent shower pressure. Separate bath.
King size bed, electric blankets, king size bottom pillow and lovely bed linen. Breakfast is around a long oval ended dining table. Choice of three juices, kept cold by sitting in a basin filled with ice. Yoghurt, fresh fruits, nuts and seeds at one table. On the dresser top there were cold meats and cheeses accompanied with pots of two mustards. There was a tray of quiche slices and tray of different breads and croissants. On the table we’re individual servings of butter and jams. Pots of tea and coffee were brought to individuals upon request.
The Rivulet is directly across from the Derwent River and the Wrestpoint Casino. Short drive or walk to Sandy Bay shopping district or into Hobart City.
Very well presented room, spacious with huge bathroom including a bath and some goodies offered.
Only reason not 5 stars is because housekeeping missed areas of dust and a few other things not quite right with the room, ie light switch broken, noisy bathroom fan and one electric blanket control did not work.
Very nice breakfast, but we are not fans of 'en famille' dining.
