I came for a conference and due to airline delays arrived really late and no dinner. Julie at the front desk was very helpful and quickly organised late room service dinner for me which came really quickly. The service level is very high with other staff members I interacted with. Of course the venue and room was fabulous

View is great, have stayed at hotel before. We were however left disappointed with overall experience of staff need to lift their game. Staff need to be more aware of their surroundings and more efficient to provide a higher level of service to make their guests feel welcome. At reception we were waiting in line with one person in front of us being served. After patiently waiting 10mins the staff member once finished simply left the counter leaving us standing there wondering if she would return. After a further 5mins of patiently waiting we were eventually served by another staff member Eve further down the counter. After giving some feed back on what just happened to Eve it came across she really wasn't really interested so I requested to speak with her manager only to find out her manager was the colleague who left without serving us. Eventually manager Tayja Halls returned to hear some feedback however quickly realised she was too busy defending her actions with excuses then to accept she messed up so it was pointless. Should this review be read by upper management I hope you take this seriously as this would simply never happen at top hotels.

The hotel Grand chancellor Hobart was wonderful everything about it , loved the pool, gym and sauna for a hotel it was perfect no complaints. I hope to be back in the next year with the rest of the family. 🙏

Clean,staff were welcoming room was very nice facing the wharf, little bit noisy from car traffic but overall very nice. Only thing a window was stuck open a touch which we had a cold breeze coming in.

Sadly we had requested an earlier checkin of 1.00pm arrived at 1.30 to find they had a black oiut, additionally my name had been confused with another booking. Whilst not their fault of the blackout it was disorganised and service sadly wasnt as friendly nor apologetic as i exoepected we were just ledt in limbo to fend for ourself until 3.30 when we could finally check in. Room was neat and tidy, view pretty but hot even with air con on low settting. The shower is great for tall people only but terrible for shiorter people it would benefit greatly having a hand held but its not uncommon to find this. in room dinner service took over an hr and two dishes were unedible. Like most hotels you have to pay for parking theae days, i think is sad given its the only hotel parking available and nowhere around the hotel as an alternative. So some extra costs for our trip that sadly adds up.
