Upon check in they didn’t tell us that breakfast was in the Mr Good restaurant. The compendium which was online only, said that restaurant was only open for lunch and dinner. No mention of where breakfast is. So we went out for breakfast each day.

Hotel security is a bit weak, in the guest lift, suppose guests are required to tap the room key for accessing to their floor. We found that everybody could be able to access to any floor even you are not an in-house hotel guests. Other than this, overall hotel facility is good and staff are helpful. Thanks!

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our stay at ibis Hobart. The air conditioning was very poor, with bad air circulation that made the room feel stuffy and uncomfortable. There was no window that could be opened, which made it worse and gave a feeling of suffocation. The TV was not a smart TV, so there was no option to connect to the internet or mirror our phone, which is something we expect nowadays. The mini fridge was completely empty, and there was no small freezer or ice compartment at all. Sound insulation was very weak. Any noise from the corridor — people walking, doors opening or closing — would wake us up easily. Breakfast was very basic and below average, with very limited options. There were no basic items like cheese, cream, or an omelette station, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations for comfort or value. The location is fine, but the facilities and room quality need serious improvement.

The staff was lovely, the gym was great and I was able to use the peloton every morning. The elliptical was broken the whole time I was there for eight days, but there was plenty else to do. Hotel location was lovely, and there was the sky bust to take me directly to the hotel from the airport which would be a much better option than Uber If You Are by yourself.
