Absolutely beautiful location. Staff were friendly and helpful, but there were hardly any around (maybe because it was low season). Check in took far too long, predictable as every time a boat arrives it overwhelmed the 1-2 staff max on the desk. The resort looks a bit cyclone battered - many rusted fixtures and some exterior repairs needed

Room was poorly stocked no milk in room on arrival and unable to get milk for tea and coffee until morning staff arrived after 9 am. Very basic tea and coffee. Evening and day staff very helpful but as there wasn’t a phone in room you had to go to reception for everything. Didn’t bother with breakfast. National parks were very good. Will just do a day trip next time unless with family.

I hate writing negative reviews but The property is in serious need of a full remodel; everything is dirty and or broken the pullout bed is the worst kind weve experienced and our toddler wasn't even able to utilise it and even structural supports show severe signs of degradation along the walkway. The snorkelling and walks are great but yourself a favour and do a day trip and stay in Cairns.

A mix of faulty towers and white lotus. Felt so bad my family dream trip was at this place that needs a mighty renovation. Little bugs were breeding in the top and the room was smelly. The replacement room was worse. Weird vibes everywhere.

Island was great . Staff were excellent . Our beachfront cabin had a problem with a shower door that was so badly hung that it was a squeeze to get into and out of. We reported the issue but nothing could be done for our stay ….the solution being to dismantle and renovate the shower . Staff said they would remove the cabin from letting until the shower was fixed .

Stayed for 4 nights in late May. Weather was great, warm, sunny. Views and hikes lovely. Walk 50 ft from our room to amazing snorkelling. On average saw 10-12 sea turtles per swim, plus rays reef sharks and loads of fish. Had economy suite which was fully equipped. Staff were great, food was affordable and nice. Short hike to nudey beach to break up the day. Highly recommend do your first snorkel at 8:30 before tour boat arrives from Cairn. Honestly snorkelling was never crowded. Highly recommend and would come back.
