Coogee Sands Hotel and Apartments

161 Dolphin Street, Coogee - Map
"Pleasant Coogee Sands location"
No problems with hotel and the staff were excellent. It was unfortunate that we were allocated a room next to a very noisy party which involved a male stripper. With interconnecting doors unable to block out noise, and as there is (good) volume control on the TV, we were overwhelmed by the massive noise from the event next door. We asked the guests to cease, and then reported the incident to the sympathetic reception staff. After 10 minutes, the event did cease.

Bondi 38 Serviced Apartments - Bondi Beach Hotels

Bondi 38 Serviced Apartments

38 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach - Map
"Brilliant location and stunning view."
As the apartment is on Campbell Parade we thought we may get some road noise. The sound of the ocean creates a lovely white noise that drowns out any traffic noise. The apartment gets beautiful morning Sun which was a great way to wake up. The Master bedroom was spacious and comfy, bedding clean and crisp. Although we were a stone throw from many good eating establishments, we also found opportunity to use the well appointed kitchenette, and the laundry was very handy for taking care of sports gear post the Bondi - Bronte morning walk/run. No downsides at all, we were able to store bags on the last day in order to take full advantage of the last few hours we had before heading back to the airport. Great apartment and location, will be back for sure.

"Comfortable period hotel in good location"
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the staff were excellent. We had a Euro-sized ("Basic", lowest cost) room which was very good value for the location in Sydney. Although small there were no complaints with the room or bathroom. Breakfast was excellent.

Honestly a great place, don't let shared bathrooms put you off. They are well maintained and always available. The rooms are on the cozy side, but there is more than enough room.

Found this hotel on trip advisor and booked it despite being a bit further from my conference at Darling Harbour. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Close to transport links and pleasant walk into town and harbour. Easy access by train from airport - one change at Town Hall station.
