On the plus side, the staff was great, the room was nice, and the view was very good. On the negative side, the room was a bit dirty - partially eaten chocolate on the floor, hair on the duvet, and after spilling a little water on the carpet and laying a washcloth on it, the washcloth looked as if I had mopped up spilled coffee. Also, the bathroom door is a barn door with a very large gap, so there is no real privacy.

Hotels in a very convenient location. The rooftop was shut down though we were sad about that but not a big deal we just went outside. Everyone that works there was very nice and you're greeted with a bottle of wine pretty cool, definitely pay the $20 to upgrade to a window view of the city. So amazing

Great location in the heart of downtown Chicago. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and quiet. The pool was closed for repairs but we were notified prior to our stay which would have given us time to make other plans. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. I spoke to many who had been there 15 years - which shows in their care and dedication to the hotel. Spiro at the front was wonderful, and I felt like I was at a small boutique hotel with the care I received. This was my first time staying here but I will be back!

Beautiful room! Floor to ceiling windows bring so much light to the room. Service was exceptional upon check in and the bar area. Will definitely be back again.

Best hotel I've stayed in this far in Chicago. My room(jr suite) was huge I love the deep soaking spa tub definitely will stay again on my next visit
