The hotel is in a very good spot downtown. I was able to walk almost every place i needed to visit. The room is a bit small. But it was just me so it's perfect for someone who's solo. The room was clean and the ac was good and cold! My room had a great city view, although it was a bit noisy for my liking. But overall i had a great stay, the staff was great also.

We've stayed at the Felix 5 times and hope to return. We like the location, the unpretentiousness, the nice people at the desk. The welcome to pets, though we don't bring one. We don't mind a small room--but take note, the rooms are really small. What I don't like: no bars of soap, only body wash (I know this is typical these days). The carpet, on which it is impossible to see any object. The lighting, which is awful. Very bright over the bed, dark at the other side of the room, where you can't see the shoe you just took off against the camouflage carpet. And this was in a room with two windows. Those with one window are even darker. Still, we like it. The friendly people at the desk make the difference.

The property was great. Right downtown. 30 minutes walk to Navy Pier and Mellenium Park. Clean hotel. Only complain is the doors to the rooms are big time heavy. Hard to get in being in a chair. Also the bed is defently high. Being in a wheelchair I had to get some help to make sure I dint fall off trying to get on.

It was another example of great pictures and horrible rooms!! The bar area is a joke. It’s three barstools and the bar tender is behind the front desk.
