Great for seeing a show!

Great location for seeing a show at United Center. Walk was easy and didn’t feel uneasy late at night. Breakfast was nice, very clean, typical options like eggs, pancakes, sausage etc. piping hot coffee! Rooms spacious can tell it was a hospital from the layout. Only major complaint was that our TV was not working great but that could have been weather related.

Skip unless you have no other options

Our stay at the Hyatt place was not good at all. The door locks did not work, the rooms did not have microwaves, and the bathroom shower handle was broken. The sheets were dirty but they did give us a new set to change. The surrounding area has gone downhill so I am guessing that people tend to skip this location anyways. Breakfast is only upto 9.00am (as opposed to 10.00am for most other chains so that is another minor issue). These may not be issues if you were not used to the quality of other hotels. The building is very dated but they did renovate the rooms so I guess that is something. The type of people coming here is also not very pleasant overall. This hotel is NOT for families.
