I realized enjoyed staying at the ACME. It was in the center of downtown, close to a lot of restaurants and walking distance to those restaurants. Only complaint I had was the elevators not working at certain times during the day. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at the Acme hotel and really enjoyed it. They have a cafe and bar (with excellent cocktails and service). This was our first trip to Chicago and we loved the River North area! Such a walkable location close to the blue and redline trains, a grocery store and CVS, tons of fantastic restaurants and bars, and shopping. We walked to the riverfront and Navy Pier from this hotel, and the area felt safe and clean. The hotel staff were all so kind and friendly, and we were able to get an early check in around 12pm which was so helpful since we arrived at 7am. On our last night of the stay our AC unit stopped working and the staff were so accommodating and promptly moved us to another room, which happened to be an upgraded suite! I would absolutely recommend this cute boutique hotel to anyone traveling to Chicago!

The hotel was the right size and in an amazing location. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The bar and cafe that are on the first floor were great! However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible to sleep in. We were giving extra pillows when we requested, which was helpful but didn’t make much of a difference in our sleep.

Three day trip to Chicago. The hotel was a great central location in downtown and a 10 to 15 minute walk to most sites, Navy Pier, River walk, Michigan Avenue, all the great pizza places. The hotel was smaller compared to most which we loved. Room was updated, bathroom very nice and king sized bed very comfortable. We used the blue line to get to and from O’Hare via Clark station (a 12 minute walk from hotel.). We used the red line via Chicago station (10 min walk from hotel) to go see a Cubs and White Sox game. Had a great time and would absolutely book this hotel again.

The person at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is quite dark and feels dirty. The bar not open until 7PM. There is not a coffee maker in the room and there is no coffee available in the hotel until 7AM. I was told to go to Starbucks - 2 blocks away. Rooms are small, dark and feel dirty.
