Our stay at Acme hotel was amazing! We were warmly greeted by the best receptionist Jerome who made us feel comfortable and provided us with some tips for getting around the city as he assured us that we’d love it. And we did! He shared some good places to visit during our time in Chicago and none of them disappointed. The location of Acme is PRIME for exploring downtown. The Berkshire room downstairs is perfect to get the night started and the vibes and aesthetic of the hotel made us feel like a part of the city. Acme and Jerome were very hospitable and left us with the impression that we’d always have a reliable hotel to come back to. 100/10 recommend! Thank you Jerome!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location in the city. Close to shopping and lots of restaurants. Also the vibe of the hotel was so different, in a good way. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite us getting to the hotel a half hour after check in time, one of our rooms was not ready and there was no apology or explanation. Just “it’s not ready, it’ll be an hour.” While we waited in the hotel lobby, my mom was pickpocketed near the doorway of the hotel. This was reported as soon as we discovered it and the hotel did nothing to help us out. There were no extra sheets for the pull-out bed and after 5 calls to front desk with no answer, we went down to lobby to ask. There was nobody at desk until finally someone came from the back. The whole front desk area smelled of pot smoke. In the morning before check out time they sent someone around to change locks on all the doors, so there was a stranger in the room as I came out of the bathroom. The whole hotel experience was shady and unwelcoming.

We loved the music-and-culture decor of this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had lots of nice, intriguing touches: the sound system, two refrigerators, and a chalkboard wall for notes and brainstorming. Really a cool hotel. Would stay again!
