It was a wonderful time, was a unique resort and had great food. However it was half finished! Don’t get me wrong the finished portion is nice but it would have been nice to know before arriving and seeing more than half of the resort is inaccessible and under construction. No construction noises and had 0 impact on my stay, just wanted to mention it. The beach club was relaxing and also had good food. But we upgraded to the vanity club and they would still charge you $80 per chair at the beach club for the top area behind the two pools, should be included in my opinion. I loved the property so much. It was very aesthetic and a relaxing time for our honeymoon. We upgraded and got a beautiful corner suite with both Bay and Golf view. We also were able to use the rooftop pool which had amazing views. The staff were very friendly and ready to help. I also really loved the private beach. Even though there was seaweed on the beach (which I knew before booking) I still loved it as there were pools. The views from there was incredible. We loved all the restaurants and the ease of using the app to book reservations and find information. The Hyatt always has the best architecture!

The staff will try to scam you into upgrading you room so you can use the rooftop pool, it’s not included in the package, they’re very rude and unprofessional, paid 300 extra to use it and it turned out we didn’t even need to but still got charged the extra money, I wouldn’t wanna go there again

Best part of the stay was having access to vantage club so you had access to the pool on the roof and nice breakfast. Resort was a bit smaller. More geared towards people who just want to party all the time. Pretty noisy at the main pools at all hours. Good if that’s your vibe. Beach club was also really loud, and hot, ocean not great for swimming as there was too much seaweed and lots of red flags from the currents, so hard to cool off. If beach is important this isn’t the place for you. Well priced and easy to get to so good for a few days. Staff were really nice, service on the roof was great. Food was a bit average. Best were the tacos you could find on select evenings if the taco truck was open. Food at the beach club was decent but a trip to get there.

Pros: decent food, good decor, large and clean rooms Cons: not much to do, mini fridge was not getting restocked and we had to constantly request water bottles from the bar Major con to the resort is also the dishonesty of the staff - we booked this trip for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate a milestone birthday and upon check-in were signed up by their staff member to spend part of our first day at a partner resort. We were told this was a promotional opportunity for guests to experience the other hotel as they recently partnered with Hyatt, however it was a 3+ hour sales scheme to purchase a $40k+ membership package with Hyatt. The staff continued to push our time at the partner resort until we caved and purchased something (an $800 “trial” trip) and they did not inform us that this would require us to sit through another multi-hour coercive sales pitch during said trip. Highly disappointing waste of time and money and left an absolutely awful impression of Hyatt and this resort.

The Hyatt Vivid property is great—clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The restaurants are excellent, with food and service that stand out. But avoid staying on the Bay side of the hotel. The pool deck hosts loud live shows at night, and if you're on that side, it can feel like the performance is happening right at the foot of your bed. Not ideal if you're looking for a quiet night.
