Loved the character, easy walking convenience to central Brisbane restaurants and the Brisbane Showgrounds, and very reasonable price. We were lucky to score one of the limited number of complimentary parking spots located adjacent to the property. Some rooms like ours have ensuites and others share bathroom facilities. Our double bed was really comfortable and it was quiet, giving us a good sleep. This is a unique, historic property in the Queenslander style, which is not 5 star, but has soul and a sense of history, which is often missing in modern hotels. We will be back if we return to Brisbane.

Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. One of the cheapest hotels in Brisbane for a reason. Very basic, limited facilities in the room. Took half a day for the air conditioning to be useful and another day for it to be comfortable. Close to the train station and far enough from the "action" to not be disturbed.
