after traveling nearly 1000 km and advising the motel that I would not get there until 15 minutes after reception closed I was informed that I would have to pay a $206 bond. I had already paid for my two nights accommodation. I was told the bond would be refunded after a returned the key and the room was inspected on Sunday. As of 9:40 pm Monday night I have not seen a refund of the bond. This is the first motel I have ever stayed at that required this and will probably be the last. The room was good and that is the only reason they are getting 3 stars.

This hotel saved me from a nightmare at the Kenwick Hotel 10kms away. They helped me check in after hours after a last second booking. It was clean, well maintained and airconditioned, and the staff were delightful.
