Modern aesthetic, nice room, great restaurant and bar in the lobby, cool outdoor hot tub, very helpful front desk staff, and ski resort and airport shuttle buses pick up next door and across the street. Only minor downside is that it's at the far end of town in Banff, so we took multiple cabs down to the other end where all the action is instead of walking 15-20 minutes in the freezing cold.

Contemporary, well-kept room ideal for couples. Friendly staff with a nice restaurant. Hot tub was definitely a highlight. Sound proof rooms would be nice along with a better fitness centre.

The hotel staff were amazing from start to finish. Great welcomes, however it was the little touches that made a different. When I asked for a wine glass the porter (can not remember his name) also dropped off a wine crank just in case. When I mentioned I needed coffee for my drive back the next day Petra (sp?) asked me to bring her my Yeti and she filled it up! Exceptional room, very clean and comfortable. Gave four stars as the restaurant had a great atmosphere and food was decent, however the serving staff were a touch green. Not terrible, just not really great.

The Otter hotel is an excellent & newer property. The front desk employees were outstanding in going above and beyond to help us locate our lost ski rentals. The rooms were very clean, and the hot pools were amazing after a long day of skiing. There is also a great restaurant/coffee bar adjacent to the hotel. Free heated underground parking was a huge bonus in the winter. I definitely would recommend the Otter Hotel.
