"Central, good for value, aging but tidy"
Couple traveller with a little baby. Good for value on a packed weekend in Auckland, very central. Room tidy and beds are comfort enough. No complaint on the value. No ramp for wheelchair or stroller, so had to carry it over few steps at the front door. Window locked in room is broken so can't close the window at night. Lucky for us as it was very warm night but can't imagine if it is winter. Parking is very limited. Paid for parking but came back late from out function, found someone else has parked in our carpark. I had to park in their reserved waiting area and got told off by the receptionist who later apologised. I wonder if they oversubscribed parking to visitor or just didn't enforced the parking pass.

"Nice 4* city hotel"
I'd have no problems going back as staff good, facilities good, location great. Some small quibbles that need be borne in mind: parking limited; showers very small; no blackout curtains though blinds quite good; a bit noisy but it's not excessive; average breakfast. It's Qualmark rated which in NZ is pretty true unlike "self rated" establishments. I've given it 5/5 as a 4* hotel. It's true to rating. You get what expect and promised.

"Perfect accommodation with everything you need"
This hotel was amazing for our final nights in Auckland, situated in a quiet street away from the busy life of Auckland, this hotel has an amazing restaurant down stairs and is within walking distance to the wharf where there are many restaurants to choose from for a meal. The friendly staff make you feel welcome and at home and will assist you with anything you need. Rooms are cleaned everyday and are fitted with everything you need for a home away from home. 10/10 would stay here again.

"A Night to Remember.."
Auckland city was busy, the busiest I have seen it. Adele was in town and traffic was at a standstill. The Airport was crowded and the road to out Hotel was a blur of cars. But then we entered The Stamford lobby.. there was a piano being played and the relaxation of this beautiful Hotel washed over us. We were shown respect when we approached the front desk, our bags were taken to our room... and The Stamford became our oasis in the city.

"Great for the price we paid in Central Auckland"
A wee walk to the Viaduct, but got the bus back. Buses go until 11pm. We shared the ham and egg breakfast sandwich before we set out for the day- also in the fridge was yoghurt and an apple, the next day a muffin and juice. a nice variety- I hope what is not used is given to the City Mission a few doors down! I didn't like walking past the Mission but could have crossed the road. Hotel staff were really helpful. Free storage for your luggage until you wanted to collect it during the day. Late check out of 11am was not a problem and offered to everyone.
