Warsaw Holiday Packages

Vibrant and historic, Warsaw holidays transport you to a reinvented slice of old Europe. The capital of Poland, Warsaw was rebuilt during its turbulent history, but it still retains its heritage and, best of all, its delicious pretzels, pivo and pierogis.

Things to Do In Warsaw

Warsaw holiday packages are your gateway to one of Europe’s most interesting cities, so your options are seemingly endless when it comes to history, culture and sightseeing. Most holidays start by touching down at Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW), named for Poland’s famous pianist (don’t worry, you won’t have to learn to play an opus). You can get to the city by train to Warszawa Zachodnia station, which is also where you’ll depart for Krakow holidays and other day trips.

Spend a day or two exploring Old Town, including the Old Town Market Square, and then pause for some sombre reflection at the Jewish Heritage Ghetto Wall. In the fancy-sounding Palace of Culture and Science, a striking Soviet building, you’ll find theatres, museums, shops and even a swimming pool (it’s indoors, so no polar bear plunges here). If you want to head away from the city, book one of our Warsaw car hire options to get the wheels you need to explore farther afield.

Shopping, Dining & Nightlife

Your Warsaw packages will let you experience all the comforts of a modern European capital, including a well-established shopping area due south of Old Town. Head along Chmielna Street for little retailers or dodge the trams on Marszałkowska Street, one of the city’s main thoroughfares. If you want to enjoy the biggest shopping centre in Eastern Europe, you'll want to check out Arkadia, right at the top of Aleja Jana Pawła II Street.

When it comes to dining, start your day off at Nowy Świat with a coffee and sniadanie, a full breakfast of eggs, veggies and lots and lots of meat. For dinner, the most popular places to eat are hidden around Old Town and New Town. Keep an eye out for bar mleczny, cafeterias that popped up in the Soviet era to serve very affordable meals, and you can even travel to 1980s Poland on your Warsaw holiday.

When it’s time to get your feet moving (or at least your hands to bring vodka shots to your mouth), Warsaw doesn’t disappoint. Head down Mazowiecka Street to see the upscale side of Warsaw's party scene. However, make sure you're wearing something smart—no tennis shoes are allowed here. For a less ritzy option, hop in a cab towards Mokotów. There, you'll find an interesting array of student-oriented bars and, if you’re lucky, the bartenders will teach you some choice Polish swear words (or you can pick them up as you go along).

What's Next?

Whether you want to experience the Royal Road or go on a proper pub crawl, Wotif’s Warsaw packages are sure to have what you need. You can find a package that's just right for you, whether you're travelling alone or as part of a couple or large group. Just point and click, then knock back some vodka in celebration—or a strong black coffee, if that’s more your style.

Faultless hotel apart from noisy nights.
