Fishing Resorts & Hotels in Waikiki

The staff in checking was not welcoming at all. Very dismissive which I thought was very odd for a hotel that was claiming to be luxury. Not a curated experience at all. Rooms very fine but the bathroom was very dated for that price point. Door hinges were rusting and there were water stains on the light fixtures. Was expecting a much higher end experience at that price point. Won’t be coming back

This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the beach and the view from the ocean front room is fantastic. Chairs and towels are readily available to bring to the beach, which is included in the resort fee. Staff is helpful and polite. However, this is not a luxury property. The rooms are pretty basic with limited storage so pack light. There is only a buffet restaurant, for dinner which is very limited and the beach cafe which is outside dining. The beach cafe is a convenient and casual option and the food was good. One other note, the layout is confusing and you need to use escalators plus the elevator to get to your room. So, if you forgot something it's a hassle to go back to the room. Overall, it is pleasant place to stay. It's everything you need, as long as you are not expecting a 5-star experience.
