We were a group of 5 friends that booked 3 rooms. 1x Oceanfront Suite and 2x Ocean View Rooms. There are two towers. We were all located in the front beachside tower. Was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews BUT we were not disappointed at all and absolutely loved our stay here. Great hotel with a cool vibe, right across from the main beach. The pool area was really nice. They had some great DJs playing the day we arrived. We had the best time dancing to cool sounds and drinking cocktails. Beds were comfy, rooms were nice and clean and the views were amazing. All the staff we encountered from front desk, bar staff and room attendants, were all so friendly and helpful. We loved it all and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Great property but when asked for my upgrade they did not offer anything. They were always trying to upsell me for a better room even though I was supposed to get it granted freely .the hotel is across the street from Beach & grocery stores. It’s a very good location.

Property Security followed my sister back to our room and asked to enter our room because they claimed to have smelled "smoke"! Although there was no smoking on the property. It was scary and intrusive. I had to inform management of this extremely disturbing experience and accusation. Management seemed receptive of the feedback and offered just an apology. Please be safe, Hotel security does not always mean patrons are secure, something we learned staying at this property. So disappointing, the treatment of security is very poor or at least with certain (specific) individuals they choose to target and give poor treatment, this even occurred after spending thousands at the resort during our stay!

The hotel was very walkable and we liked the proximity to the beach. However, we were over charged by thousands of dollars twice during our 7 days. The hotel staff downplayed it and wasnt available to help us when we requested it.

Great stay. Hardest part is finding parking but definitely understandable. Safe, clean, close and walking distance to all things waikiki!

Location is good. I prefer it's not in the shopping area, because less people and more quiet. The view from balcony is amazing! Absolutely beautiful! Morimoto restaurant is very nice to have in the hotel. Staff, taste, price all good!

Property met or exceeded expectations in most every way. Bathroom was very tiny. The chairs in shallow part of pool where always reserved.

Location to the beach and a quiet side of Waikiki beach. Small pool area with limited seating. Resort had private parties in the same area making use even more difficult. Otherwise it is a nice place to stay

I would definitely stay at the 'Alohilani Resort again. You do pay for a daily resort pass, however, there are yoga and fitness classes included in that as well as other workshops such as lei making and hula dancing classes which I think made the charges worthwhile. It was very central to everything in Waikiki. We also loved the Go Greener program they have introduced, whereby you can opt out of daily housekeeping and in turn, receive $15 food and drink credit for each day you opt out. This was an amazing incentive to consider sustainability and reduce unecessary cleaning for a shorter stay. Overall, a great trip!
