Nice location, walkable to everything in Waikiki. Breakfast is the standard American which is mostly disgusting. Not enough lifts, coupled with the fact there appears to be no service lifts, so you can be waiting a long time which is frustrating. Don’t bother with the parking, there are options around for half the price. Hotel was noisy, especially if you’re unfortunate to be on a floor with an ice machine. No hot water in my first room, requested to be moved then got locked out the second room multiple times when the key stopped working. It’s tired and has a funny smell. Pretty poor offering.

The accommodations were pretty typical for a Holiday Inn Express. Same breakfast as other locations, only a larger seating area. Ice is only available about every other floor.

We recently spent a week at Holiday In Waikiki, we very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located in a very walkable area, restaurants, the mall and beach are all a close walk. Also there is a trolly stop nearby for those utilizing the Waikiki Trolley. Breakfast is included with the room and is plentiful, the pool located on the 5th floor is small and gets crowded but offers nice views.

Not quite what was shown

Our stay was good, but not quite what we thought. The pictures of the rooms were different than what we got, the same with the pool. In the pictures the pool seemed bigger but was not. Although our room had a view, the accommodations shown were not what we actually got. However, our stay ended up being good due to the area, we were within a 15 minute walk from activities and close to the bus and trolley stops. The staff were very helpful as well.

I wouldn’t say this property is family friend. The bathroom had windows on the 12th floor that were covered with ply board. If opened, no screens at all. The rooms are tiny, not small, tiny. We had to be moved because four people and one checked back couldn’t fit. The AC unit was like a house window unit and was literally on the bed, I’m not kidding, you would be cuddling with the AC. This part of the building is very run down. No AC in the elevators. The 12th floor smelled like mold. I read other reviews before we came. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns. This was disappointing at best. Breakfast was on par with every other hotel breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.
