Waikīkī Resort Hotel did not disappoint. Yes, 1970s decor and could do with an update, but it had all amenities. Early check-in was very well appreciated and having the option for an extra bed made our stay even more better. The lite breakfast did have slim pickings, the pastries and fresh fruit were great.

I didn’t like they charged us amenities fees and that wasn’t stipulated in the Expedia web site and the AC was very noisy, we asked for a repair and they said they needed to order a part, if it didn’t come in they would moves us to another room and they never did either of them, it was very noisy and annoying to the point that my ears hurt at times.

We loved the property for it's location to the beach and various dining options. We also loved the breakfast buffet served hot each morning from 6am-930am. This hotel was a complete disappointment. The room was outdated and in terrible shape-scratched-up furniture, a broken bathroom window, and a filthy, chipped tub full of mold. It was noisy at all hours, and the service was just as bad. What made it worse is that the photos online are completely misleading. What we walked into looked nothing like what was advertised. When you're spending that kind of money to visit Hawaii, you expect at least basic cleanliness and comfort. This wasn't it. l'll be posting photos so others can see the truth before they book.I have photos to confirm.

Had a nice stay . Breakfast was great and so was staff. The only bad thing was I book a room with 2 beds and they didn’t have it available when we went to check in. But they did up grade the room that had a balcony and ocean view. Which was beautiful and relaxing. The pull out sofa was terrible. But over all it was beautiful in Hawaii !!!

There is not much different after 7 years come back and stay in the same Waikīkī Resort Hotel. Most of the view, facilities… are the same (old and not upgrading) The car parking charge is too high! Need replace the outlook and make more stylish for the room. But most thing I like is the staff. Very nice people f Ty on the front desk to the room services! Thanks yo All.
