Waikīkī Resort Hotel did not disappoint. Yes, 1970s decor and could do with an update, but it had all amenities. Early check-in was very well appreciated and having the option for an extra bed made our stay even more better. The lite breakfast did have slim pickings, the pastries and fresh fruit were great.

Everything is pretty close and beach in literally across the street. I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast but there is breakfast place in the same hotel that was pretty good.

The staff was attentive. Hotel was a little outdated but overall very clean. Located towards the quiet end of the Waikiki walk so it was very relaxing. Ocean view rooms were beautiful and our view was amazing.

Hotel is 1 minute away from the beach. There is a McDonald's next to the hotel. Lots of places to shop, to eat. it is located in the heart of Waikiki. The mall is a 20 minutes ride from the hotel. No need to call Uber. All you need is a metro card but they call it a Holo card that you can get at any ABC stores.The hotel lobby is beautiful but the room needs a makeover; better lighting, better furniture but overall, I had a great time in Honolulu

Loved our stay here! Short 5 min walk to the beach. Free continental breakfast which is a plus if you are traveling with kids. There is even a rental car place in the lobby their rates were cheaper than taking an Uber.
