The Sheraton Waikiki was beautiful. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean where you could see the turtles. Siana was fabulous as the waitress in the area and Sarah was wonderful helping set up towels and rescuing my hat tgst blew off. Those two were above and beyond friendly.

We are a young family with a 4 and 1 year old, this review is based off safety of the facility for families with young children. Two major safety issues will have us never staying here again and we will not recommend staying here to young families. The pool had water slides and had two levels. It was very crowded with a lot of kids and were no lifeguard’s and no life jackets to use. They instead had a stand next to the pool selling exorbitantly priced pool floats and toys. When asked if they had life jackets they said they had arm floaties and an intex brand float vest for babies and small toddlers. Both of these items are not actual certified flotation devices and the fact that they were charging for them was very disappointing. They don’t put safety first at the Sheraton Waikiki. Second issue is the rooms go up to 31 levels which give awesome views but the railings are very low and children could easily climb over them and fall. We were on the 29th floor facing Diamond Head and the beach which was amazing but we were too scared to enjoy our deck because the railing were so low and our children could easily climb on top of the chairs and fall off. The hotel seems like it was an old hotel with old fashioned safety standards for railing height, then they recently renovated the rooms but didn’t improve the safety deck railing heights. I would only recommend this hotel to adults without children or families with older teens. Third downside is the rooms are very narrow.
