If you are on a budget, the hotel is affordable and very central. However, the mattress desperately needs replacing and the hotel overall needs maintenance. The room was very loud between the box air-conditioner, construction noise and street noise. Another positive is that they can store your luggage at check-in/check-out and the room was spacious.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Staff called me in advance due to rain storm to see if I needed to stay another night very thoughtful. Waikiki beach short block away very walkable and convenient to get around to the sites. Free coffee / tea and internet. Made a great experience. Parking at the hotel put me at ease could come and go as needed no hassle. Free Laundry washer and dryer at the hotel. The hotel karoke bar looked like a lot of fun

Really outdated and not clean

It’s really outdated and dirty the floors in the bathroom not clean at all I put a towel on the floor to step and the towel was super dirty. The couch was ripped and the curtains had holes most of them they were really old. The only good thing was the coffee and the bar lounge downstairs closes at 2am and my kids couldn’t sleep due to all the noise and singing from the bar.

It’s not a fancy property, but it’s clean and well kept, and very conveniently located. The beach chairs, toys, and towels were a great surprise. The staff was very nice. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

Save yourself

The only thing saving this place is the staff. Everyone is so friendly but the rooms are not like pictured, our shower took 2 days to get fixed, the construction happening next door starts at 5am, and the apartments next door people are constantly blaring music between 2-4am. Don’t stay here unless you’re ok with very little sleep and outdated rooms.

The hotel and rooms are dated and the beds are not so comfortable. If you just need a cheap room in Waikiki and don’t care much about amenities then this hotel is okay.

We’ve been staying at this hotel every time we travel to Oahu. Everyone who works there is really nice. The hotel overall is decent especially for the convenience and price (1 block away from Waikiki Beach, tons of food spots within a few blocks). 2 downsides, though, is parking and construction across the street. Parking is on a first come first serve basis and it is very limited. There’s also a huge construction across the street and construction runs Monday-Saturday (they start very early). Overall, I love this place and will definitely come back for year 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No parking despite what they advertised.

Upon our arrival, we were informed that they did not have room for us to park. We had to figure out parking elsewhere. If you know anything about Waikiki, you know this is difficult. The room was very old and an awkward layout. The bathroom was very tiny and the shower did not have any water pressure at all. It was a trickle. This was our first time in Waikiki so this hotel was centrally located and it was nice to be able to walk around downtown. We did not always feel safe so we limited our time wandering around. We were glad that we only booked one night and then we moved on. We would not make this a repeat hotel if we are ever in the Waikiki area again. We would definitely stay somewhere else.

I was in room 501 and was working. The internet was problematic. I came to the lobby for a meeting and lost internet. When internet is provided it’s assumed it’s adequate and will work when needed. That was disappointing. Also it seems the photos portraying the room are not accurate, showing desks for instance where there are not. Otherwise great stay!

The Stay Hotel Staff is very friendly and welcoming and Helpful in every Way. I really love all amenities in lobby area. coffee,Tea , water, Computers and comfortable seating for your wait. Good Value you based hotel

The hotel is 1 block from Waikiki Beach, it is a older property that is very well maintained. The only downside ia the windows are shutter style style which you will hear outside noises just a bit. For the value you get, Keurig Coffee in the lobby filtered hot and cold water so you can fillup your water bottles with it. Good WiFi. You can walk everywhere from this property. No resort fee but a $15 amenity fee, you can get beach towels to take to the beach also. I give it a solid 4 star.

Room was not as advertised, super small rooms, barely enough room for two people, parking was not guaranteed and they don’t even have designated accessible parking spaces which is so unfortunate, there are no lights in rooms, showers were always leaking water which was mentioned but never fixed, cockroaches in rooms, breakfast was also not provided either which they advertised but only coffee was ever available in the entire week we were there. Very unpleasant stay, will never stay here again.
