1 booked a "boutique queen " room but got a "petite queen "room, tiny and cell like. 2 hotel advertised a restaurant/bar which in reality is a gay karaoke bar that doesn't close until 2.00am. Needed ear plugs to sleep. 3 the first room assigned to us had a extremely noisy air-conditioning unit, upon investigation i found a old wet towel growing black mold literally 50mm,2in.from the air conditioner intake (extremely bad for your health). I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHILE IT IS IN THIS STATE. P.S. $15.00 US PER PERSON FOR BEACH TOWELS AND COFFEE IS OUTRAGEOUS!

The room we were given was nothing like the pictures on the website, the wardrobe door wouldn’t stay closed the room was very scruffy although clean enough and the noise and light from outside were next level, it was literally impossible to sleep and there were no curtains or blinds to block out the light coming in! Windows were vents, that didn’t fully close and the noise from outside where a lot of construction was going on madevthecwholecexperience unbearable!

The staff were wonderful, they do the house keeping every 2 days which was good. The room needs some upgrade but still neat and clean. The hotel was close to the main street and all the shops and next to all the bus stops. Overall, with the price that we paid, we can't complain. Next time visiting, we will book this hotel again.

Very nice hotel to stay at. Close to everything and doesn’t up charge you on its location like many other hotels. People that want to pay to have balcony facing the water, good for you. Not me, I’m never in the hotel, I’m always out doing fun activities or just relaxing by the sand. I only sleep, poop and shower at a hotel. This place was perfect. My first time staying here out of the 9 times I’ve been to Hawaii and honestly will be staying here again. Staff were great w the exception of the lady w the glasses. We named her the towel guardian. She was screaming at me when placing the towels in the return container. Lady I’m deaf I can’t hear you! LoL. Still I laughed about it because you’re in Hawaii. Loved their coffee/Tea station set up they had going on. See you soon Stay Waikiki & Thank you for the nice hospitality. Give the towel guardian my regards. LoL

They checked me in with a lower grade room than what i booked. The receptionist Jocelyn insisted that the room I booked was sold out long time ago and this lower grade room was the best room they could provide me, and pushed the responsibility to Expedia. Throughout the whole conversation, her attitude was extremely terrible, no customer service mindset and skills at all, and at the end of the conversation she even started yelling. I escalated to their manager but had to stay in that lower grade room for 3 nights and then the manager shifted me to the right room that I booked for the last two nights. Besides the terrible receptionist, the hotel should not straight away down graded the room for me without asking my acceptance and insisted that was the best option I could have. Terrible experience.

Always a great stay, I’ve stayed here many times in the past as the location is fantastic, the accommodation is equivalent to a 2-3star motel in an Australian country town but it’s clean has a shower and comphy bed and it’s all you need. Will stay again. Bring ear plugs though as sometimes it can be noisy.

I loved it it was affordable and muchies was there at all times i get early anough get on citybus go to dennys for a meal across the street from dennys i walked over to the zoo they have a real live skunk on display its in kieki section 100 percent rabies free and its and has smell grands removed

Great hotel hiding in plain sight

Hotel is close to the beach. I like the proximity to local shops and the International market. Staff is super friendly and courteous. I have decided to make this hotel my go to spot when I'm in Honolulu.
