The hotel needs a total update. paint was peeling off the ceiling and walls and the room smelled musty. although the bed sheets and towels were clean, the rest of the room was only surface cleaned. the staff was courteous but not helpful in giving information on things to do in Waikiki. the location is good

Staff was friendly, but this place is SO OLD. We are pretty low maintenance people, but I felt like this room hasn’t changed (not been cleaned) since the 70s. We had to call maintenance because our bathtub didn’t drain, and then the air conditioner stopped working and they could not fix it despite trying at 11:30pm. We couldn’t continue our stay because they didn’t have any other rooms available. They were nice enough to work with us for some refund compensation, but spend the extra money to stay in a nicer place and save yourself the trouble. Lesson learned.

Don’t let the sound of having a kitchen foul you for mine stove burners didn’t work except for one small one. The refrigerator made noise when it kicked in and the kitchen supplies were very limited. The bathroom sink also dripped all the time. Because of an all of this I left and went back home earlier than I planned on.

Spotless and great staff and solutions. There was a couple that had left their dog in the room and it was non stop barking and seemed in distress. Various guests had made enough complaints and luckily there was a different room we were located to.

Horrible! Everything about this place was horrible. The location is ok but the building is old and outdated they give you one key to use for the room and if you lose it, you have to pay a fee. They expect you to leave it at the front desk when you leave they also expect you to leave any valuables at their front desk. They’re safe is broken inside the rooms when we arrived Our room was unlocked and opened. The rooms are completely outdated. We were left with one roll of toilet paper for three days. They do not service the rooms unless you are there for five days or more you will experience extreme loud noise from the streets and from the halls it sounded like they started doing construction and maintenance to the building from all hours of the day starting at 6 AM till never ending. There is no parking and they give you two choices for Potential parking that are $50 a night that are pretty far from the location so plan to walk I would say go stay somewhere else. This was a joke!

Staff was courteous. Room was clean and stocked appropriately except I think there should have been liquid dish detergent. I had to buy it. My stay was uneventful. Mostly quiet at night. However, on my checkout day, they charged one of my credit cards AGAIN after having charged it when i checked in. As a consequence, I was stuck with both of my credit cards without any money to use for my last day of travel. I had to sit in the lobby of my hotel in Atlanta for almost 4 hours trying to find someone who could help. I was very sick with a sinus infection, very tired and very stressed. The day before, I had to say goodbye to my brother in Hawaii who has stage IV pancreatic cancer and doesn't have many more weeks to live. So, I was also very emotional from that difficult situation. It took three days for them to correct their error. In the meantime, I had barely $20.00 to get me from Atlanta to Greeneville, TN. I am very upset about this double charging. I will be calling the Manager. I expect some compensation as it cost me a lot more to get things done. FYI, my stay was January 19th to January 26
