during a recent trip to Hawaii and had a mixed experience. The location was excellent—just steps from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Staff I interacted with in person were friendly, and the balcony views were a highlight. However, the room felt dated, and some of the furniture and fixtures showed noticeable wear. Reception was difficult to get a hold of when we needed assistance. Overall, it was an average stay—great location, but the hotel needs improvements in service and upkeep to match its price.

Great Views From The Balcony

Great views from the balcony if you have the full ocean view. The location is ideal with the beach across the road and so many places to eat so close. Lifts are very slow. Property is dated for what they charge. The room fridge froze everything and the above floor was leaking on the bathroom ceiling.

This is not my first time staying at The Twin Fin. The staff is always accommodating! I love the text messages checking up on the stay. It is extremely convenient. Tiki’s Bar and Grill on the 3rd Floor by the Pool is excellent as well. You can view and go to the beach with towels and chairs, have multiple shops available, and just overall walkable to everything Waikiki Beach! Highly recommended.

The good, the bad and the rude

This hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and local amenities…. It has a nice pool area and bar, and the room was pleasant… Parking is far from ideal…. Either valet parking at the extortionate rate of $54/ night or self park a 5 min walk away at a similar rate…. It’s at least a 20 min wait for the car, even if you request it in advance it still isn’t collected until you are there even though the parking appears to be on the second floor of the building. Reception staff are a little rude….. my key stopped working through my stay, and I was refused another key because I hadn’t taken my ID to the beach, and had no idea what incorrect phone number and email address had been recorded at check in… despite having a copy of my booking on my phone, basically the computer said no and u think the receptionist would have been happy for me to just sleep on the street! This definitely put a dampener on what would have been a very pleasant stay ….

We loved The Twin Fin Hotel with our beautiful ocean view. Our family stayed 7 nights and enjoyed everything! The hotel was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed eating at the Tiki Room a couple times - excellent! We also had lunch a few times at the Sunrise Shack, also excellent! Everything in close proximity like the ABC stores, the walk to beach and all of the many places to eat including the trolley in front of the hotel that takes you all around the area! Another one of the many things included at the hotel was having access to the Beach Candy Waikīkī to rent our chairs and umbrellas - it was awesome being able to have to have all these kinds of amenities at this hotel! It was all around a wonderful experience at a beach hotel that had everything you could need all at your doorstep! We will definitely be back! This is our fifth time visiting Oahu and is one of our family favorites that we discovered this visit!!

The hotel in not bad the problem is kind of old I change rooms 3 times because the first room has bugs under the bed they change me to another room where it was next to the elevators it was to noisy one of the staff was very rude but the rest of the staff were trying
