Don’t pick a king studio. They are next to the elevators and you hear them all day. They know how bad they are because they stop them from 10 to 7 am Loved pool. Food.

The good for the Hotel is the location, it is very close to the Ala Moana Regional Park with walking distance, and also the Kahanamoku Beach on the other side. For eating, it is in the walking distance to the Ala Moana shopping center where there are tons of restaurants and the food court. The bad is that it is not too close to the Waikiki beach. And the first couple of days I checked in, there is no hot water and we have to take shower in the neighboring hotel. The double bad is a little too small for two people to sleep.

I had high hopes for this “Modern” Hilton but I was (still am) very disappointed. I look forward to checking out tomorrow. The carpet was not clean and the curtains were falling apart. But the BEST part was (the main reason why I felt compelled to write this review was when we got back to our hotel at 9:30pm after a long day, there was no hot water. Called down to the front desk and that’s when they told me the hot water heater is broken but offered for me to take a time slot to shower next door in another hotel. I did not do this. I will never take my family to another hotel, just to shower, while on vacation. So we all took cold showers. Front desk apologized. But did not offer to make this right whatsoever. We will not return to this place again.
